tuncay has't had any real chance to show what he could do and on the odd occasion where he's managed to get on coyles played him right wing

if sparky does't play well today i would put tuncay there....in you know his natural position

just dont think lad has has a fair crack of the wip
ahhh - ref. season as a whole - I agree wholeheartedly... on the couple of occasions he's played in his natural position then I think he's shown promise - but in order to fulfil that he probably needed a run of games... he's never had anything even close to that...

it is a bit of a mystery how much he appears to have been frozen out given he was unveiled as a big signing...

+1

Who do they have on that side? Duff?
Aye, usually

FFC starting XI: Schwarzer, Kelly, Hughes, Hangeland, J. Riise, Duff, Dembele, Diarra, Ruiz, Kacaniklic, Dempsey

I know we are short of midfielders but surely a youngster would be better, then if someone gets injured, at least we have a replacement instead of changing the system.
But we already saw last week that Coyle would rather change the formation then play a inexperienced midfielder. No point wasting a spot on the bench if there is no chance he will use them. With the 3 forwards on the bench, they all offer something different so it gives Coyle options for later in the game...I'm ok with it to be honest.

Sordell ????????????????
Sordell has been used this season already despite competing with Davies, N'Gog and Klasnic....Alot of the time for one position. He also would have played alot more if he wasn't cup-tied. Vela didn't even get a run in the cup and Coyle even changed the formation so he wouldn't be thrown in last week.

I think it just boils down to Coyle thinking Sordell could contribute more then Vela atm and he would be more willing to change the formation to do so. Also, like i said. Sordell provides something that Klasnic and Davies do not.....pace.

No Pogre... (sp?) and instead there's a Kacaniklic.

We should be ok as there's no way someone no-one's heard of can be PL-ready

I think if he had his chances throughout the season, dprats might not be playing over the last couple of games. That is my feel as I think technically he is better. But then again... we are deep into tail end of the season.

Still really wondering what happen - injury or frozen out ?
