Not impressed with Ngog either. Another one not looking a good buy for the money!

In all honesty I thought we did OK for the first 45. It was just one of those things, we had bouts of pressure but nothing came of it. They got their excellent free kick goal and the game changes.

After the break it was bloody dreadful though. Clearly down to the change in formation and personnel. I just don't know why we need to make changes for the sake of it. With us going four in midfield(more like 5-0-5 at times) they ran the show from the centre and looked dangerous on the break. Why are we left with the grandad striker force? Why does he consistently start Pratley? Alonso looked woeful too. Shame as I thought he's come on this season.

Don't understand the criticism of N'Gog either. He's not great but much better than Davo and Klasnic in open play. If Tuncay could somehow rekindle his Boro form I'd stick him up there but we've been playing him out on the right for some reason. And btw Elmander has just won the Turkish league title with Galatasary.......

I think the majority of the board see the problems with the outdated 4-4-2 so why can't Coyle? I just don't rate his tactical ability and some of his signings. Thanks Owen but shut the door on the way out.

Coyle laid into Alonso 3 or 4 times in the first half including a couple before they scored yet leaves him on. If Steinson is fit put him on , if he isn't why is he on the bench ? Ream would have been a better bet at left back with Knight in the middle.

I thought Fulham played very well the runs of the strikers in behind us the first half were excellent and something sadly missing when we attack.

Ngog sort of plays OK but there is just not enough goal threat from him. We all know the issues with Davo and Klas but Coyle doesnt seem to want to play Sordel so not sure how we solve that one

Overall we were dismal we created very little and we have got lucky with the other results again

I bet Ben Arfa is hoping Alonso is playing on Monday

You thought he had a good game?

I appreciate his work rate, but he just never looks like scoring. And he often holds the ball too long before releasing it.

The last nail is in place all we await is the hammer on Monday!

Coyle? Championship manager at best (hopefully not was us next term)

The players? I will be glad to see the back of the spineless morons who by hiding early season have left us in this position, good riddence to the lot of them!

Its been a good ride while it lasted.

We were absolutely shite.

First goal- Not the first time N'Gog has given away stupid fouls in positions he is never going to win the ball. They then took it from a good 8 yards further forward than the foul happened. As for wonder goal...do behave, he hit it well, but it was 3 feet inside the post, and he'd set his wall up on the wrong side, I think expecting Riise. Either way was shite keeping (I rate Boggers, but that was shit).

Second one- After being ripped to bits all fecking game long by Damian pissing Duff, Alonso gave it away, cantered back, was given another chance to defend, failed miserably, and Dempsey wandered in to score. The bastard (not bad though, is he?)

Third one- Eagles completely lost Riise, which must be difficult considering you can here him run the fat fcuk. Alonso trotting back, beaten to the ball.

Shite on the ball, too many glaring errors at the back. Gutted for Robbo too, he put together a consistent run in a bid for shittest fullback performance ever seen, but Alonso blew him out of the water today, that bad. Should have been hooked at half time. They are a decent team, but not that good. Dembele is a good player, but really don't see this central midfielder thing Jol has going on, and that Ruiz is absolute gash. Slow, one footed and falls over whenever anyone goes near. Duff isn't half the player he used to be, but didn't need to be. Clinical. Demspey is top drawer.

i think thats why the foul wasnt given when he ran through. ref must of thought 'this useless turnip wont score'. I'm not sure he is shit but he isnt a centre forward. 451 with him up top...where do the goals come from? No Stelios,.Nolan or Diouf now...just a load of fannys afraid to take responsiblity.

yeah, last two posts spot on.
the rest of them made RC look industrious and... well he just isnt very industrious/athletic.
is completely the wrong time to experiment but damned if we do damned if we dont.3 cb's as per Wigan
anyone? Ricketts Wheater Ream
Steinsonn would be ok as a wing back - trouble is who to put other side. Unless we go with Boyata and leave Ricketts as LWB.
oh fcuk- my head hurts
Here goes
Bogdan
Steinsonn Ream Wheater Boyata Ricketts
Davies M RC Eagles
NGog Davies K

Probably the right formation given that we have to get at least three more wins from the remaining 7 games to make sure that we have a chance of staying up

Davies AND N'gog up front.

Go on, explain that to me.

I thought our fast half was as good football as we have played all season. Just couldn't break through in the final part of the pitch.

That seems to be our new problem. With 4-5-1 we can control the mid, but we need a Messi up front to score any goals.

4-4-2 with Klasnic and Davies? That was never going to work. Not even the long ball worked for Kev this time.

8 of the 11 we started with were Coyle signings. Bottom line, they're just not really good enough.

Managed to squeak through with some wins from teams around us and some helpful refereeing, so we can't really say the fixtures have consipred against us on this one.

We could witter about injured players - Fulham had more injured than us (as do Newcastle).

We also have the worst record in the Prem against teams from the top half (so I'm expecting a right humping at Newcastle)

Good to see that Garty is sticking with Coyle "come what may". It doesn't get much better than this.

This.
He's staking our short to mid term future on these players. And it scares me.

You see I just don't get this. It's no good playing pretty passes left to right and back again if we lose possession as soon as we get into the opposition half. If that's as good as we've played all season then no wonder we're in trouble.
