Me too... about half an hour ago... and initiated a discussion with friend about the particular fragrance of asparagus urine... He agreed... In the end we both thought it was a shame that so few veg had this effect... what might the sweet potato urine smell like, for instance, given its so attractive name... or that from barley wine... or curly leaf parsley mixed with sardine... that we reckoned might be marketed as Pungent Pour L'homme...

Tonight, it's a personal favourite; butter bean, pork fillet and chorizo stew followed by Sicilian lemon cheesecake. Oh yes

That pork dish sounds bloody good. Any chance of a recipe mate? Good to catch up at the Blackburn game too! You'll have to come down on the train next time though.

Half pound of pork fillet cut into pieces and browned off, 1 chorizo sausage cut into 1 cm sections. Fry 1 large onion with 2 cloves of garlic until golden brown, adding in a tablespoon of smoked paprika and some fresh coriander. Add in the meat plus 2 tins of butter or canellini beans plus a good glug of red wine. Bang in oven for an hour or until pork fillet is soft. Spread a couple of dozen dorito's on the top, sprinkle liberally with mature chedddar and return to oven for 5 minutes.. Done! Serve with crusty bread or rice.

Sicilian lemon cheesecake: Walk to Lidl, dodge asylum seekers, assorted riff raff and embarrassed looking middle class people searching for bargains and spend £2.99. Defrost.

Gonna give this a whirl, minus the dorito's and cheese, plus a little stock. Got a McWilliam's Markview Shiraz (Australian) half price at £4.49 from Tesco, some to add and the rest to sup later.
