Today I'm annoyed - not quite angry - that GG's team won yesterday. However I am not annoyed that the beaten team was Blackburn.

the sun came out - lovely blue sky - so decided to set up in the garden in my portable hide (yes - am sad enough to have one of those!) with a flask of coffee and my new lens on a tripod pointed at the bird feeders in order to practice with my new lens (which is manual focus on my camera) - oh how these modern auto-focus cameras have made us lazy!!!

I also put the Guinea Pigs out in their outdoor run for some fresh air as a favour to my daughter who is still in bed...

i had just taken ONE shot (robin below!) and poured a coffee when FROM NOWHERE - huge black clouds appeared and it started to absolutely trolley it down.. I had to run for cover (not wanting to get new lens wet on day one) and then go back out to retrieve the soaking Guinea Pigs!!

not happy!!!! :evil:

anyway - the one shot I did get...
