Re: Bottom 5 fixtures
Blackburn look as good as gone. Norwich and Wigan at home, yes, but Chelsea and Spurs away. Ouch, 6 points for them won't be enough imo because of their GD.

35 points should hopefully keep us up ....2 wins away come on you white...
Re: Bottom 5 fixtures
Neither Blackburn nor QPR will get to 36 Points - Fact.
We need seven point sto stay up , mark this page and come back at seasons end and let me know what a genius I am.

Re: Bottom 5 fixtures
So is it 35 or 36 points?
Re: Bottom 5 fixtures
That's a massive setback for QPR. Whether they're playing for something or not Spurs, Chelsea, City are a big ask particularly since the two London clubs are going hell-for-leather for 4th.
We take 3pts from our games in hand and we'll be looking quite tidy down the stretch.

I'd be less surprised if Blackburn win at Swansea, but if I were laying money it'd be on a home win. Imagine the stench on this thread if we'd lost against 10 men in the last minute – and let Andy Carroll score. (They must have borrowed the Bad Runs Ended Here sign, eh?) Also, after a heavy defeat at QPR Brendan Rodgers will also be in amongst his players this week - they too are only on 39 points.

Pity I was so wrong about our f*cking Fulham game

You are hereby banned from predicting the Wanderers' results - but do keep forecasting losses for our relegation rivals.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Back on Thursday when all was woe, Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:I'd be surprised if QPR win at the Hawthorns: Hughes has admitted that they're targetting the home games, West Brom are tough nuts to crack and Hodgson will demand improvement after the City hammering (note also that West Brom are 'only' on 39 points, so he'll be asked about that and defiantly insist they're not safe).

Mr Barnet. You and I, not too long ago, sat at Cravern Cottage eulogising at how Fulham manage to carry out routine footballing tasks, unlike us, with great ease. Having seen them perform in exactly the same manner just before Christmas I'm stunned that a fellow as knowledgeable as you could possibly predict any outcome other than a dicking for us!Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: Pity I was so wrong about our f*cking Fulham game

Re: Bottom 5 fixtures
Good set of results. We're still in the bottom 3...ergo we still need to score some goals and win some games. Thats my worry!
Re: Bottom 5 fixtures
Gonna say bottom 3
Villa
Blackburn
Wolves
Mcleish will then move over to Birmingham when they go up via PlayOffs, to banners of "Job Done agent Mcleish".

Re: Bottom 5 fixtures
35 and goal difference by my reckoning and our goal difference isnt the best. Tried todo the BBC predictor thing without being biased and factoring in totally unpredictable Bolton form still as said elsewhere we win enough of our games (and they are winnable) we should be fine.Recent results put it firmly in our hands but alas they are the hands of Monty PanesarAnnoyed Grunt wrote:So is it 35 or 36 points?
Re: Bottom 5 fixtures
Win enough of our games and we WILL be fine. That's what enough means
.
Seriously though, feck knows what is going to happen. Wolves, Blackburn and one other of four I think. Villa probably only need one win in the next few to be fine. Wigan seem to have it together. Blackburn dropped off at the wrong time. QPR doing well but such hard games. Swansea might see us go the way of Blackburn, or get it together. 50/50 tween us and QPR IMO. Swansea game HUUUGE.
