Lots dive. But young is certainly the worst example of those.TANGODANCER wrote:Gail Platz wrote:You know it's coming with Ashley Young, he's a complete cheating tosser. He does the same movement all the time, shifts the ball to one side then runs into the player and throws himself to the ground. It's sneaky as he's getting fouls from it because of the 'contact'.
Aye, he's not the only one either. It's a Walcott, Lennon special. I always thought your feet passed each other by a couple of inches when running, not a couple of feet. Pure intentional cheating.
Horrific cheating.

Prepare for the worst, hope for the best...I can see QPR beating Spurs, and picking summat up at Man City as well (~who will be on the beach by then).
Swansea is 3 points or bust as far as I can see.

Re: Bottom 5 fixtures
With their record up here we should get at least a point at home vs Spurs. It's the Swansea game that worries me.
Wouldn't be devastated with a draw.

Re: Bottom 5 fixtures
Its beginning to crystallise now.
Wigan will get more points than we can IMHO. And they will be fine.
Blackburn have two winnable home games but are also away at Spurs and Chelsea. Whilst its dangerous to write anyone off at this stage (look at us in 2008 after getting thumped at Villa....) it will be hard for them to get beyond 34 points, which will not be enough.
QPR are not great away and have Chelsea and City to visit. At home they have Spurs and Stoke. For me next weekend is absolutely crucial. IF QPR beat Spurs then they will be looking at probably 37 points, and given our GD leave us needing 3 wins. Were we at the same time not to beat Swansea, I think pretty much we'd be done for.
Conversely were QPR to lose against Spurs and we beat Swansea its looking hard for QPR to get beyond 34 points and we'd be looking at only needing possibly one more win.
So in short if QPR beat Spurs IMO we'll need 3 wins (granted its not a given they'll beat Stoke but I suspect they will....). If they don't beat Spurs we may only need 2 wins or 2 wins and a draw (if QPR and Spurs is a draw).
The only potential fly in the ointment is that Chelsea could, (no sniggering) have a chumps league final and FA cup final distracting them from league matters and Citeh, might have nowt to play for on the last day.......but you have to go with the odds of QPR probably losing both those games....(though remember West Ham staying up by winning at Old Trafford a few years back on the last day).

You see BWFC-i, THAT is why you should avoid doing the complicated "what if" scenarios.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Bottom 5 fixtures
We could beat Swansea and Villa
I reckon we'd then need a point from 4 games
We could lose both games
Then Coyle would have completed the job

I don't think we'll beat Swansea.
I don't think we'll beat Villa either.
