Re: Bottom 5 fixtures
I'm going to go to the pub and watch Arsenal Wigan I think. Really big one for us, I feel, as Wigan are the ones showing fight. It'd be good to see a spanner or five thrown into the works.
Mind you, they are playing very well at present. But surely Arsenal can edge this one? Surely?

Whilst an Arsenal win will be nice, ultimately I think it makes little difference.Owen'sEleven wrote:I'm going to go to the pub and watch Arsenal Wigan I think. Really big one for us, I feel, as Wigan are the ones showing fight. It'd be good to see a spanner or five thrown into the works.

We need to finish above Blackburn and QPR. They have the tougher fixtures are not playing as well as Wigan and look to me the most likely two we can topple (assuming we get our act together).
Re: Bottom 5 fixtures
Want to see arsenal give them a real drubbing, 4 goals and their goal difference falls below ours. I think the man utd score was a freak result no matter how well they played and arsenal can bring them back down to earth.

it may be so - but I'd rather see four teams in it than three!
Re: Bottom 5 fixtures
I think Wigan will lose tonight .. i don't think they can out football Arsenal at the emirates. I think 3-0.
I think we will struggle to beat Swansea and have visions of our defence backing off over and over and Sigurdsson having a field day with shots from the edge of the box.. quality player and wished we had gone for him a few seasons back when he left Reading.
As for villa.. they are very beatable.. there only real goal threat is Bent who is out for the season and N'Zogbia who has been poor this season.. if we don't win that game under the circumstances then we don't deserve to stay up really.

Agreed. But I think irrespective of tonight, Wigan will survive.thebish wrote:BWFC_Insane wrote:Whilst an Arsenal win will be nice, ultimately I think it makes little difference.Owen'sEleven wrote:I'm going to go to the pub and watch Arsenal Wigan I think. Re: Bottom 5 fixtures
What was the villa score at the reebok?
I'm not confident!
Mind I bet they have more injuries now.

Re: Bottom 5 fixtures
they have history with arsnenal... didn't they overturn a 3-0 into a 4-3 a couple of seasons ago?? and there were the acrimonious spitting allegations... I doubt arsenal will want to offer them any favours...BWFC_Insane wrote:Agreed. If i remember rightly it was 2-1 to Villa with Bent having his usual field day. On the other hand we went to Villa parkt and won 2-0 in the cup

Re: Bottom 5 fixtures
I seem to recall Villa hadn't won a game away all season up to them turning up at our place. I see we had the 'Bad Runs Ended Here' banner out again.ChrisC wrote:officer_dibble wrote:What was the villa score at the reebok?
