Happy? I'm bloomin delighted. Mrs G who has been in a stress inducing nightmare of a job, got a new one today. More money, 4 miles from home (as opposed to the 60 odd mile daily round trip) and in a far better environment. Great excuse to take her out for an Italian :pissed:

Went for an Italian last night. Not been as disappointed in a meal in a long time. Think I paid the price of going too soon after a weekend in Milan. Such a let down

a woman who I have been involved with (professionally before anyone smirks!) over the last few years...

I have conducted 3 infant funerals for her - all of them stillbirths - the last two I was present most of the day in the hospitals where she was admitted to give birth knowing that the babies had already died...

anyway - she had a very rare condition which caused the problems. from the most recent death (baby Willow) they took some genetic samples and using them developed a screening process for IVF specific to that condition...

she tried IVF - and failed twice.

she tried a third (having to remortgage the house to do it) - and phoned me up this week to say she is now 23 weeks pregnant with a healthy pregnancy...

that - I think - is cause for celebration! :D :pissed:

Wow! Good luck to her. Twins is hard work at times, can't imagine having triplets!

Was it called Gennaro's? Or something like that. Did my level two with an Italian guy who had an Italian in Poulton. Hairiest ears I've ever seen, and mad as a box of frogs!

There's your problem right there mate. If you're ever anywhere near Poulton and hungry, the ONLY place to eat is Suda Thai. In fact to do otherwise is nothing short of criminal.
