Re: Wanderers v Swans
The first of 6 cup finals to mark our march to the end of the season. There is absolutely no reason why we can't go these last 6 games unbeaten. Swansea at home, win. Villa away, win/draw. Sunderland away, draw. Tottenham home, win/draw. West Brom home, win. Stoke away, draw/win. Call me an optimist, but I see no reason whatsoever why that can't be a reality. A couple of weeks away to get the mind in gear, they now have to come home and battle their way to three points against Swansea. It could be a game and a result akin to the Middlesbrough game of 07/08...

That's before anyone's mentioned fixture congestion...I can't believe someone hasn't already offered this as yet another excuse yet.thebish wrote:truewhite15 wrote:The first of 6 cup finals to mark our march to the end of the season. Yes but that was just an observation based on QPR's rose-tinted, happy clappers, gleaned from a QPR website, rather than one of our happy clapping bretheren getting in early with another excuse for OC.thebish wrote:Worthy4England wrote:That's before anyone's mentioned fixture congestion...I can't believe someone hasn't already offered this as yet another excuse yet.thebish wrote:truewhite15 wrote:The first of 6 cup finals to mark our march to the end of the season. I happen to disagree with their happy clappers too.

I think something else will do for us.
Re: Wanderers v Swans
I think you are a closet happy-clapper - and your online persona is merely a thin veneer designd to impress BWFCi!! You think of OC excuses loooooooong before any outed happy-clapper can even dream of them!Worthy4England wrote:Yes but that was just an observation based on QPR's rose-tinted, happy clappers, gleaned from a QPR website, rather than one of our happy clapping bretheren getting in early with another excuse for OC.thebish wrote:Worthy4England wrote:That's before anyone's mentioned fixture congestion...I can't believe someone hasn't already offered this as yet another excuse yet.thebish wrote:truewhite15 wrote:The first of 6 cup finals to mark our march to the end of the season. Ream, Ricketts or Steinsson might make better sense except for the fact that we kinda need them in defence. Is Riley fit? Anybody know anything about Josh Vela?
My point about Knight is he's an athlete, and, like Campo, stick him as a midfield stopper and you won't have to worry so much about his gaffes. Of course, unlike Campo, he can't drop a forty yard pass on a peseto.
Okay. Make that a euro. [*Feels old.]

Poshing it up in the Lion of Vienna for part of $huttgun's stag do.
So I hope we win it for him and our survival chances.

"Average"? In that case he's a shoo in for this year's Player of the Season!HM Murdock wrote:boltonboris wrote:Yeah, let's chuck in an unproven kid, whilst you deride our most consistent performer, who will undoubtedly win Player of the Year by a country mile!HM Murdock wrote:I think Josh Vela could feature in Saturdays match
The gave him 70 mins in the reserves last night, and i'd like to see him on the bench again, if not in the team. Keep hearing good things about him maybe its time he had a crack
They are all unproven until they get a chance though
If NRC wins player of the year, then its a sorry state of affairs. He is average at best, i'm sorry but i just dont rate him.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
