Well, this is where I thought he'd get found out, and on tonight's showing you're absolutely bob-on for me. Am so chuffed for him. I wonder if Wenger was watching tonight, and how he might now reflect on his opinion?BWFC_Insane wrote: Surely he must be a certain starter for England in the summer?

Re: What are you watching tonight?
Pretty much went as expected. Chelsea defended very well and relied on the long break. Only needed one. Barca had to be called unlucky not to score, but that's football. Cech was exceptional and Cahill is really showing his quality now. Had a sound game defending and was
just an inch or two away from scoring one too. Somehow, I still can't see Chelsea winning in Barcalona, but good luck to them. Messi, messimerising.
Drogba? Hollywood calls, superb agony and aerobics. Next Tarzan maybe?

I watched The French lieutenant's Woman and enjoyed. Pinter's script and imagination worked very, very well, making the film more interesting than the novel...
Meryl Streep offering genuine acting, Jeremy Irons being shown up by her...
I never managed to finish the novel... anybody out there to defend it?

Re: What are you watching tonight?
yeah cgi, weird tho innit.
Yeah they transformed Dale Street in manc to shoot that one scene, they were there about a month, i worked round the corner at the time so went for a watch at dinner times, was pretty cool. the only reason i bothered watching the film tbh, but it wasnt too bad.

No idea where Dale Street is, to be honest....only a few places in Manchester.
The CGI looks odd.....the perspective is off on certain scenes.
