Sounds v good to me... Off to Asda in the morn...Little Green Man wrote:Some cod/chorizo/green bean/tomato/red onion/potato concoction, irrigated by a few glasses of Asda Falanghina. Snot bad for a fiver a bottle.
I stir fried a chicken thighs, green pepper, green chilli, spring onions and then add on sauce from a packet... and chucked in some noodles... And had a seriously tasty accompaniment to a Spanish Red... I'm not ashamed about the packet sauce from the Co-op...
Well, I am a bit...

The
They also had an drinkable Albali Verdejo/Chardonnay for just over 3 quid a bottle. You might want to get a few bottles just in case OC recalls Zat Knight tomorrow.William the White wrote:Sounds v good to me... I'm one of the minority that prefers Knight to Wheater - but it doesn't stop me going to Asda... In fact there is a store very close to where I park on football days...Little Green Man wrote:TheThey also had an drinkable Albali Verdejo/Chardonnay for just over 3 quid a bottle. Knight over Wheater? Must be strong wine!
I went Sharju's in Adlington toneet. Not looking forward to the morrow. Toilet roll is in the freezer.

I'm sure you're not the only one to favour Echo Falls over Blossom Hill.William the White wrote:I'm one of the minority that prefers Knight to Wheater

I work in Inverness but am back down here for my girlfriends birthday this weekend. Ended up going for a meal in the horseshoe at ringley. Great food at reasonable prices but I draw the line at paying £3.70 for a pint of becksWilliam the White wrote:Yesterday's chicken stir-fry... spanish chardonnay or Viognier - not yet decided...

I'd make that "good food" rather than great, Tripod, but yes, been there quite a lot.tripod wrote: I work in Inverness but am back down here for my girlfriends birthday this weekend. Re: What are you eating and drinking tonight?
I can't stop eating at the moment. I'm constantly hungry after Sunday.
This morning I had porridge. After a 7.30 meeting I stopped on the way back to the office for a tea and a muffin (blueberry). For lunch I had Jacket Spud, cheese and beans and followed that with a KitKat.
Still hungry

Never has there been a greater "Emperor's New Clothes" of food, for me. Yet marketed to the hilt.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
