Re: Wanderers v Swans
How anybody can say such a body was man of the match, the lot of them were shit. We looked fcuked we couldn't cope with them moving the ball around us. What have they been doing in Dubai wanking each other off, Mark Davies was shocking once he got booked he decided to go missing we might aswell of brought him off and put Vela on much earlier. Too many fcuking ball watching aswell, point gained in my book. QPR pissed all over Swansea the other week yet we were struggling to get a draw, to many of our lot don't give a shit.

After that lacklustre performance I reckon they'll absolutely batter Villa I think the importance of this game got to them we didn't lose and that was the least best result I thought Swansea would beat us comfortably. The main problem is our porous midfield I'd drop Mavis for Vella As for up front none of our main strikers look like scoring ,Sordells got to be given his chance after all Ryo was unproven in the premier and he's more or less been an ever present.

Looked absolutely knackered. Steinnson MOM only by virtue of his goal saving tackle in the first half.
Very poor.
Very poor.

He won't get a game - apparently he doesn't like playing ping pong or darts in training, he just wants to play football.newboy wrote:After that lacklustre performance I reckon they'll absolutely batter Villa I think the importance of this game got to them we didn't lose and that was the least best result I thought Swansea would beat us comfortably. I wrote a note in my diary on the way here, it simply said - bugger.
I can't see us winning another game all season, we are truly awful and deserve to go down after a shocking season.
Owen has one more season to get things sorted, he's reducing the wage bill and replacing the older players. This term he's failed, but he deserves one more, if only because he's one of 'ours'.
There's always Burnley away next year to look forward too
Shite, f*cking shite.

Re: Wanderers v Swans
There's so much you could say about today's game. The long and short of it is they wanted it more, we're far better organised, played as a team and deserved to win by several goals.
We are sluggish, half hearted, disorganised, shambolic and essentially where we deserve to be in the table, second bottom.
We had one single, good spell in the second half, yet Coyle had senslessly swapped the wide men over so we couldn't get a decent cross into the box.
Frighteningly we had nearly 9M worth of Coyle signings sat on the bench contributing nothing. A club of our size can't afford that. Coyle had not spent money at all well. NGog was appalling when he came on.
There are just too many problems in that team to fix. The lack of battle and desire being the biggest and most troubling problem, with Coyles complete lack of tactical ability and seemingly poor decision making when it comes to buying players coming a close second!
Burnley here we come!

That post could actually be a summary of the majority of games since Wembley last AprilBWFC_Insane wrote:There's so much you could say about today's game. The long and short of it is they wanted it more, we're far better organised, played as a team and deserved to win by several goals.

Totally outclassed but we fought hard for the point which will prove to be a very important one for us. NRC and Wheater stood out for me while Ryo was out of his depth, having been found out to be one dimentional. We will probably have to call on LCY earlier than we want.
We are lacking quality but at least the fight from the players is very much there.

Better than no points.. so yeah i would also say a important point which could be the difference come the end of the season.BWFC_Insane wrote:An important point? Can you just explain, given we can't beat Fulham or Swansea, where the three wins we are going to need as a minimum will come from?ChrisC wrote:Better than no points.. so yeah i would also say a important point which could be the difference come the end of the season.BWFC_Insane wrote:An important point? Apologies Mr negative.. football doesn't work on the fact that you must beat team A to get anything from team B or C.. anything can happen from game to game.. you might have given up but i certainly have not..BWFC_Insane wrote:Can you just explain, given we can't beat Fulham or Swansea, where the three wins we are going to need as a minimum will come from?ChrisC wrote:Better than no points.. so yeah i would also say a important point which could be the difference come the end of the season.BWFC_Insane wrote:An important point? Villa is more than winnable.. spurs are playing shite .. Sunderland also playing shite and look like they are already on the beach.. We have beaten Stoke already.. West Brom are hardly smashing teams left right and center..
There is no law that says because we lost to a good Swansea and Fulham team that we won't get anything from our remaining games.

Re: Wanderers v Swans
First half wasn't too bad, but still not great. We did have a good period of playing Swansea how everyone else knows how to - pressurising them high up the pitch. And our goal was a lovely move.
But again second half deterioration.
Sigurdsson sat in the hole all game causing problems which Coyle did nothing to address. His idea of tactics really does seem to be as simple as deciding whether to go 4-5-1 or 4-4-2.
The players themselves were often incapabale of doing the basics - as they've shown all season. Tracking a man, playing an accurate 10 yard pass at a crucual stage. I remember in the 1st half when Petrov had the free kick, the keeper parried and their defenders had followed it in and cleaned up the scraps. 5 mins later Swansea had a free kick and I said to myself 'I bet our defenders won't be 1st to any second ball'. Sure enough Bogdan parries, a Swansea player is first and he should've scored.
Thats what is so painful about watching my team now. Constantly watching the same mistakes, without anything being learnt. And no sign of coaching trying to address our disorganisation.
The league has been poor overall this season - the fact that we still have a chance is evidence enough as we've been woeful all season and deserve to be down.
I hope we stay up but if that means another season with Coyle then its just delaying the inevitable I believe. A nice guy but unfortunately nowhere near as good a manager as a team with our lack of resources needs to enable us to compete.

Re: Wanderers v Swans
just not good enough. partly feel sorry with what coyle has left to work with in central midfield. basically 1 player as if mark davies is a central midfielder i'm lionel messi.
then i remember he started kevin davies.................

Re: Wanderers v Swans
You are right but a seasons evidence suggests that having failed to consistently beat teams from mid table and above, it's unlikely we're suddenly going to click and win three games out of the last five. I salute your belief I really do, I wish I thought we'd stay up like you, but sadly I can't believe it......ChrisC wrote:Apologies Mr negative.. football doesn't work on the fact that you must beat team A to get anything from team B or C.. anything can happen from game to game.. you might have given up but i certainly have not..BWFC_Insane wrote:Can you just explain, given we can't beat Fulham or Swansea, where the three wins we are going to need as a minimum will come from?ChrisC wrote:Better than no points.. so yeah i would also say a important point which could be the difference come the end of the season.BWFC_Insane wrote:An important point?
