Barca v Chelsea / Madrid v Bayern

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Trying to watch both games.

Barca 2 up on the night, Cahill off injured and Terry sent off.

Toon might catch Arsenal at this rate!

Well happy for Cahill, just hope he is fit. Seems the way to get to a Champions League final for them is to buy someone from us in January! Cahill to miss on ein the shootout and then Terry to hit the post ag....oh, wait.

What a massive tool Terry is! You know if you even go near one of them they'll be rolling about all over the place, so to do that was beyond thick.

And Gary Neville's sex noise! Brilliant.

Got up early and watched this, whilst skipping through a bit. Amazing result.

Truly amazing.

If before the game you'd said Barcelona would be 2-0 up at any stage you'd have said "goodnight Chelsea".

If before the game you'd said Barcelona would be 2-0 up and Chelsea down to 10 men a few minutes before halftime........you'd have said if Chelsea lose 4-0 they'd have done well.

To draw 2-2 when you're 2-0 down and down to ten men at the Nou Camp?

I wonder if thats the best result at club level ever?

LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF THE GAME!! I actually backed Chelsea to get through before the 1st leg, and had goosebumps when Torres went clean through. Amazing performance, and it is fantastic to see an English team back in the final.

Every time Torres got the ball, at left-back or upfront, the whole pub cheered. Glad for him.

A few years ago when 3 english clubs were in the semis I wanted the only non-English club to win, and they did (Barca). This time I want Chelski to do it so I can dislike them for being too successful and nicking all our best players.

Watching the other lot tonight. Oh,the sheer pain of the agony world championships.....
Ribery, looking like the loser in a knife fight and cheating like a bxstard and throwing himself up in the air like a shuttlecock. Roben, decent player but runs like Andy Pandy, Ronaldo liking grass more than a hungry horse. Benzema really looks the part up front for Madrid and Ramos is as good as ever in defence. Marcello and Ozil looking excellent. End to end and nothing in it in extra time. Ref clueless, missing bad challenges and giving feather ones getting it all wrong and geting conned all over the place.

I have no interest in the sampions ligue but I'm a sucker for a penalty shoot out so just tuned in. Who'd bet against the Germans?

Fascinating game. First half was as good a spectacle as you'll ever see. Then it became cagey. Still very watchable!
