Franny Lee used to start his run-ups from either Moses Gate or Bank Street.
He coached us at our school one time. No idea why, but you can imagine how excited we all were. He was still playing, at Derby then I think.

I was the usual penalty taker & he had me take a few ... against him !! He gave me one peice of advice, which I have always passed on... "place the ball & step back and then make a decision on where you're going to hit it. Once made DO NOT CHANGE YOUR MIND".

If you do change your mind, that's when you balloon it or mishit it or whatever.

It never let me down.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

I hope we dont start the team that started the second half. Odd I know but I think.Davies worked well as an impact sub, as some said he would. I'm genuineley thinking he must of been carrying an injury from very early into the season. He was a new player last night.

I'd bring in pratley for myiachi (who i wouldnt bother with on the bench either). Thats it. If we play as badly as we did in the first 45 we wont go in at 0-0. Need a proper 90 minutes from the lads.

In agreement (at last :) ) - do not start Kevin Davies.
They're dirty, they're filthy, they're never gonna last.

451 to start, Sunderland will start strong so we need to with stand the storm and hope for some changes. If then it looks like we can win, 442 bring on SKD and do them

We certainly had a good experience with Wilshere, and especially Sturridge, but Ryo only managed to show he can run very fast

And I also remember myself hoping for Sturridge to stay, even though it was quite impossible,as it is with Ryo,so I don't get it,why should we play this kid when we have a nice choice of our own. I would rather see Vela,as he's our lad. Of course,Ryo is probably bigger talent, but he'll be gone tomorrow, and his contribution to the team is not big enough for us to hang onto him.
We'll be back!

If this is all Ryo "the next Messi" Miyaichi can do, think how shit will Josh "who?" Vela be...

They may have the paperwork but their lawyers will still have to review it and recommend a decision. Nothing to say they will or can do that prior to Saturday, or even before the seasons end....

Larsson is out for them, which is a bonus. They have allowed him to have surgery early, so hopefully the rest of the team see it as an opportunity to put the cue in the rack and save themselves for next season.

Big boost that is, I rate Larsson glad he's out

Agreed, his set pieces are dangerous.

Might have a sniff of a point in this one yet....

It's the pace of sessenwhatshisface and Richardson that worries me!

Was the same against villa.. Was terrified everytime N'Zogbia ran at us.

Richardson's apparently out for the rest of the season. Here's the team the fans are predicting. Don't know who'll be on the bench but Bendtner pobably will be:

Mignolet
Bardsley - O'Shea - Kilgallon - Colback
Elmohammady - Meyler - Vaughan - McClean
Sessegnon
Wickham

Wickham? WICKHAM? WICKHAM..
Si Deus pro nobis, quis contra nos?

Larsson is out for the season too. Which is excellent news considering the way we defend corners and crosses.

He started against us at the Reebok earlier this year when we lost 2 - 0?
