I assume we are paying him not to play. Like Sordell!

If utd had signed him there wouldnt be this delay...we should be kicking up a public fuss

We should. The people who handle these sort of things haven't been known for doing us that many favours. Remember Artim Sakiri? We tried signing him before he scored against England straight from a corner and got told 'no', when WBA went and tried signing him they gave WBA permission. We should at least be trying to force their hand not sitting idly by waiting for them to get their asses in gear. Not wrong with prompting them.

Apparently not far away from being named in the squad according to Coyle I guess Sordell needs someone to talk to on the bench.

I only thought I'd post the once on here (I'm a Hearts fan), but couldn't help noticing this topic. I've seen him play quite a few times and, while he's pacey as mentioned, I wouldn't be getting over-excited about the signing. If Bolton are relegated this season then he'll prove useful in the Championship, but the lack of an end product will prove a real stumbling block for the Premier League.

The same impression given by Rangers fans before he even left them..

Wouldn't say it's a joke.

Rules clearly state that players who are registered for one club at the end of the transfer window cannot be registered for another club until the next window.

We're trying to find a way around that rule, that generally takes time.

I'm not expecting him in a white shirt until next season.

His registration is already null and void because he could prove that they couldn't pay his wages and didn't accept redundancy pay from them. FIFA are just dragging their heels.

8) a line from Blackadder...

Prince George: I say, Blackadder, are you sure this is the PM? Seems more like an oily tick to me. When I was at school, we used to line up four or five of his sort, make 'em bend over, and use 'em as a toast rack.

Pitt the Younger: It doesn't surprise me, sir, I know your sort. Once, it was I who stood in the big, cold schoolroom, a hot crumpet burning my cheeks with shame. Since that day, I have been busy every hour God sent, working to become Prime Minister and fight sloth and privilege wherever I found it.

Blackadder: [Casually] I trust you weren't too busy to remove the crumpet.
