Not now with that big win for Wigan.

Got to hope both QPR and Blackburn lose and beat Spurs on Wednesday.

Hating this season so so much.
I'm with you on that but seems hell of a lot to hope for the way other results have been going.

They'll be saying exactly the same, "point not enough with Bolton nicking one"

Cahill could do us a big favour tomorrow.

Come on Gaz...
I'd rather support Bolton than be you.

We have three games, QPR have three we need more points from ours than they from theirs

Why you think that makes today not enough I'm really not sure. Should QPR win two of their three I suspect we were going down anyways.

38 has been the bare minimum for the last few weeks now. If QPR draw tomorrow bump that to 39. If they win then bump that to 40.

If they lose tomorrow the we need to probably win two, but maybe a draw and a win is enough.

Barring idiotic displays from the likes of Chelsea, Spurs and City, a win and 2 draws should be enough.

2 wins obviously would almost guarantee it.

Can you explain that? Are you allowing QPR a draw tomorrow?

going on our most recent HOME performances i envisage us picking up nothing from Spurs and WBA- both slick passing sides who could pick us off and exploit our nervousness.
we'll beat Stoke and had we neat Sunderland 39 pts would have kept us up
not like me to be more pessimistic than you - but thats been my reasoning since Swansea

Its down to us or QPR , fact.

I would rather have our fixtures than theirs. Win two for safety.

Our downfall could still come down to goal difference, The way Wigan are playing they should put Blackburn down next week which will mae them safe. At the moment Qpr have a better difference of 10. If they get beat tomorrow then it's up to us again, but really worried our goal dfference will decide it.

Very good point regardless of the results tomorrow - 4 points from Villa & Sunderland away is a very good return

Still need 2 more wins from the last 3, as long QPR don't win at Chelsea

which undoubtedly they will.... the top half clubs are determined to shaft us - it's a sinister plot!

No they won't Chelsea will beat QPR tomorrow, its a local derby and John Terry will fire up the side because of both the Ferdinand incident and the fact that Chelsea won't want QPR to do the double over them.

sounded like an encouraging performance that warranted all 3 pts, so add wigan winning and villa getting a decent result and it's a little disappointing but if both qpr and blackburn lose tomorrow then it's not a bad weekend.

feel sick at the thought of the last 3 games. will be so nervy. :(

Villa have to play Spurs at home and then Norwich away on the last day. Not unreasonable to think they might end the season on thirty-seven points.

And we've got Spurs and WBA at home and Stoke away. Not unreasonable to think we might finish the season on 34 points.

Nonsense. It's teams like Wigan and QPR playing well.

QPR fans today cursing how poor Sunderland were against us. Nothing odd about it, teams at the bottom raise their games at the end. We have, so have they.

If we do drop it will be because of our wanky performances for two thirds of the season and the fact that Owen and the rest didn't wake up to the situation till the very last minute.
