I'm fine with Reo-Coker winning it, but N'Gog deserves a bit of recognition too. He might never score another goal in his life, but I think we'd be down already had we played Kev up front all season.
Reo-Coker
N'Gog
Eagles

Think this is about it, for me too. I might be tempted to swap Eagles and N'Gog, but that's about it.plymouth wanderer wrote:Tombwfc wrote:I'm fine with Reo-Coker winning it, but N'Gog deserves a bit of recognition too. Unless he's injured I suspect he's gone back home tbh.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

He was crap at Liverpool. How can we expect him to be any different here?
N'Gog is incredibly frustrating. Has one or two little bits of skill which get him into a really good situation and then he somehow manages to fk it up. There were a few examples of this yesterday, running into the box, angles too wide for a shot, instead of playing it against the player for a corner he tries to shift it back behind himself only to lose possession and give the opposition an easy clearance. Another one is where the ball gets laid off by Klasnic and instead of just smashing it home with his right foot he decides to take a touch to bring it on his left for a different sort of shot only to get dispossessed easily by the defender.
I'm routing for the guy but bloody hell does he make it hard. It's like watching Elmander in his shite days all over again.

Patience with ngog has gone for me. However next season, lower league, new manager maybe...the makings of a forward are there I think...

Tell you what I was thinking last night, though. Normally at this time of year when another year in the premier league is assured / taken for granted, someone usually posts something up about 'Which players should we nick off of the sides likely to go down?' I'll bet that supporters of other clubs currently running a similar exercise on their forums haven't identified a single one of our players as a player that they'd like to have.

Bet the WHU lot said the same thing about their lot going down.

Yep. Hard to see the good in people from the situation they were in. I'm sure people would be remembering Klasnic for his goalscoring efforts and thinking i'd take that or Mark Davies for his ability to run at players.
Truth is if they are going to go anywhere decent it'd have to be now that they're showing what they're made of.

Changed my mind.
After Tuesday @ Villa N'Gog can have it for me. JUST for that moment alone.
