A-fecking-men. League title everywhere. Pisses all over the acheivements of Woy and Droopy.boltonboris wrote:Whichever one got/gets it, it'll be a massive step down from a proven World Class manager who's won everything like Capello.
If Fabio can't do it, no fvcker can.
We got knocked out of the World Cup coz Capello didn't let them get pissed, 100%. Nothing at all to do with Germany being 8 gazillion times better at football than us.

Re: Hodgson For England
Probably have to wait until this evening for any official confirmation but if Roy is announced as England manager will he still be in charge come the final two games of the season or could his assistant be placed in caretaker charge??
West Brom don't have too much to gain or lose either way and with the draw against Villa confirming their status as the highest Brummie side this year surely Roy would chose to crack on with his preparations for the Euros? Although he may be keen to 'finish the job' so to speak, not to mention any contractual obligations, I can't help but feel with the penultimate International friendlies on the horizon time is really of the essence.

Can't see him being that focussed on our game though can you?

hmmm.... were it the LAST game (which, thankfully it isn't) you might imagine the players and fans might pull out all the stops for a big send-off... there second to last game away from home - that might not be such a factor!

Good work by Agent Gartside to unsettle this weekends opponents.

Not so clever! What about p*ssing off our midweek opponents manager who come to the table first?Beefheart wrote:Good work by Agent Gartside to unsettle this weekends opponents.

Re: Hodgson For England
Their defender Steven Reid has just been on Radio 5 saying "the only feelings I have right now are disappointment & deflation to be honest that we're losing such a fantastic manager" & sang his praises no end. I guess that's no great surprise though. I can't decide if that means he'd perform any worse on Sunday or if he'd give it some extra oomph as a farewell... I fear it might be the latter

Everything but the game: Because it's not just a game, it's a way of life.

Well, his team's performance will be well monitored, especially by those who wish to ridicule him.
Before the game there'll be two dozen photographers at his dugout.
Then the game starts and we forget all about it.
