Ryo's pace looks like a myth to me..

Yeah he'd run up and down after him, never catching him.

I jest, I think Ryo has got great pace. Unfortunately it seems the earlier signs that he was the real deal have faded as the whole league seem to have found he has the one method of getting it past a player. One method which they're now stopping 9 times out of 10. Put it in front of him though and it is a different matter.

Annnyway, I digress. I thought Boyata was a fantastic improvement on his previous appearances for us last time. Would I prefer him or Steinner against Bale though....hmm. Steinner probably has the better pace.

and - steinner HAS nullified Bale before (though - as you might expect - BWFCi told us that it wasn't due to any skill on the part of the Bolton player - it was cos the Spurs player had a bad day...)

Such scurrilous accusations are scattered around these parts in these times!

Yeah, he has kept him under wraps... the mind boggles as to how, but he's done it so must have at least something of a read on Bale's game.

Usually I am of course disgusted by people throwing bananas onto a football pitch, but if solely for the purposes of stopping Bale it might be worth a thought.

Bolton 2-4 Spurs

Big Kev Davo with ours, Bale and some others for them.

fecking hell I hope I'm wrong with that prediction but I've just got a strong feeling of goals galore.

I'm loving the build up. Then again, the anticipation is often better than the occasion. As long as we win I won't worry if it isn't match of the year. Love the excitment of anticipation, the step into the unknown as it were.
