BBC football seem to think the doubts are steinnson pratley and NRC (whos facing a fitness test so may be brought in anyway for being so valuable)
both them and Physio Room seem to think chris eagles is certain which is brilliant with assou ekotto being out because he could really put his form to use if we play him down the right

I am getting goosebumps just thinking about Fab being at the game.
Unfortunately this has made me feel more optimistic than I should be!

Re: Spuds at Home
How big is this game, though? Really?
We are level on points with QPR, and have WBA at home to come, followed by a trip to Stoke. Those are the games we should be looking to for the four points we most likely need to survive. Today is a bonus - a great chance to steal a march, but not the be all and end all.
I have my fishing rod out a bit here, but today is about keeping momentum - playing well and not picking up injuries first and foremost. Obviously it goes without saying that a point would be welcome, and 3 points a dream. But Saturday is the big one for me.
Still...a point from tonight puts us in the driving seat, and it's a fixture that has granted us many points down the years, so we should go in with high head and hopeful heart. But a narrow defeat is not the end of the world, and I think I was more nervous ahead of Villa (a), Blackburn (h and a), Wolves (a), Everton (a) and QPR (h). They were do or die games, and we won the lot.
Spurs are a top 5 team. Let's stuff 'em...but not get too down if we don't.

My own feeling is that if we lose tonight that could be it....
We'd likely go into the last game at Stoke needing something and still in the bottom three. Not sure I'd fancy that much.
Re: Spuds at Home
I see it differently. I can't see QPR taking more than a point at home to a physical Stoke side. Then Citeh will probably need to win on the last day to secure the title and I can see 4-5 goals against QPR. This leaves them on 35 points with a goal difference of -28.
Therefore all that is needed is 1 win or 2 draws from the last 3 games!!! Ever the optimist!!!!!

Perhaps, but I'd not like to rely on Stoke getting anything at QPR. I think given QPR's home form of recent they're favourites to beat Stoke.....Barr Hill wrote:I see it differently. Defeat is a disaster tonight,.momentum, and also points as well...anything but a win on sunday would then leave us right in the shit possibly even relegated!
Nerves jangling, COYWM!!!

Strange how something over which we have absolutely no control (like tonight's match) can cause physical pain - my guts are churning over and not with the cheese and onion butty I've just had.officer_dibble wrote:Defeat is a disaster tonight,.momentum, and also points as well...anything but a win on sunday would then leave us right in the shit possibly even relegated!

I've been strangely calm all season.
But now its in our hands and it feels like we "should" be able to do it, the nerves are 'a janglin'.

Re: Spuds at Home
I actually think we should look for vital points against WBA and Stoke. Spurs are all fired-up,as they still fight for CL place. We can just hope that someone'll have a bad day. In fact, not someone, the whole squad
As someone have said,we are perfect for helping other teams to break their bad luck and poor tradition
