Re: JUST FCUK OFF
See mate, I can't agree with that. If I were a manager for hire I'd far rather take over a smaller squad with larger wage headroom than, for instance, paying money to an unwanted Shittu, Braaten or Dzemaili.BWFC_Insane wrote:But that aside, we're too far down the line of committing to a "youth rebuild" to bring anyone else in. We're going to lose several senior players for no fees in the summer and whatever division we're in are going to have to replace them either through our own youth players or some probably imported young players or a few youngish frees.
Obviously this rather depends on the potential new man being allowed to use that headroom. But to me, the contract expiries this summer represent a great chance to clear out dead wood and build again. Not sure whether Coyle is the man to do that, but equally I'm not as certain as you that he's the oly possible choice.

But I was referring to a one off performance and style of play. Why do you keep suggesting I'm saying West Ham are better than us? I'm not. I'm saying they went to Cardiff and were very organised and played in a way we haven't this season.
Cardiff were dreadful last night and West Ham were not much better scoring from a miss hit shot and a deflected goal. The football on display was atrocious and to suggest that either team was organised is nonsense.
It appears that you will fabricate any reason to find a stick to beat Coyle with.
We are and have been all season a shambles in terms of organisation and work when we don't have the ball. The blame for that rests in one place.
If you honestly cant see how West Ham went to Cardiff and completely took them out the game through an organised and solid set up designed to stop Cardiff playing then fine. You're probably from the Coyle school that thinks playing two wingers each week and hoping they beat their man a few times is all the tactics you need.
The subtleties of how West Ham dominated the game are the crucial things that we dont do.
Coyle and his coaching staff have failed to organise us all season long. Football basics is where we've gone wrong.
Couldn't care less about 'how we look' I'd take a few 2-0 wins like last night any day!

I don't think anyone here is suggesting that Coyle sets us up as the epitome of dogged fighting resistance...
it's just your example of that is puzzling.
would you accept the following statement?
"it is much easier to stifle Cardiff City than it is to stifle Spurs."
if so - then your example probably isn't the best... far better would have been an example where a team of LESS TALENTED players by sheer organisation - stifled a MORE TALENTED team..
that's all!!

anyway - I shall be bookmarking this thread where BWFCi claims Coyle is the only man for the job next season!

We've made the mistake if keeping him and letting him drag us into the shit. Having done that and made that mahoooosive mistake, what choice do we have but to let him try and pull us back out of it?thebish wrote:anyway - I shall be bookmarking this thread where BWFCi claims Coyle is the only man for the job next season!
He's got his own players in now, so realistically he gets a chance to use them how he has 'visioned'. If we are not doing well 10 games in though, especially should that be a championship season then that would be the time to change that view.....

Yeah thanks for that Owen. You're right football is just about sending out 11 players and hoping they do better than the opposition. And if they don't telling us how hard you'll try to improve it, then doing exactly the same thing again x38.Wandering Willy wrote:You can keep writing guff like this - won't make it true.BWFC_Insane wrote:If you refuse to see it then fine.Wandering Willy wrote:What an utter pile of shite.BWFC_Insane wrote:

Call me Owen all you like - it still stands that the example you have used is crap.

Don't worry BWFCI some folk backed (cough) Megson (cough) almost till it was too late!
I support and follow Bolton Wanderers but unlike the glory hunting sheep down the road at old trafford and in a few years the council house dwellers I actually see the shite Coyle and before him Megson are serving up! There are a few of us, not as many as finally saw through (cough) Megson and when they do IT WILL BE TOO LATE!!! I'll hand out the rope.

Indeed - they could just sit facing the pitch instead of away from it, and all would probably become a lot clearer.CAPSLOCK wrote:Nobody needs to fabricate owtWandering Willy wrote:It appears that you will fabricate any reason to find a stick to beat Coyle with.

Yes and I was told as a kid, it'd make me go blind...I can still see those holes in our defence though.thebish wrote:that's a nasty case of masochism you have there, Worthy!!Worthy4England wrote:Indeed - they could just sit facing the pitch instead of away from it, and all would probably become a lot clearer.CAPSLOCK wrote:Nobody needs to fabricate owtWandering Willy wrote:It appears that you will fabricate any reason to find a stick to beat Coyle with.

Re: JUST FCUK OFF
I contend that most people can see the gaping holes in the way we are set up (and also as a consequence of the apparent 'training' methods). It is, however, no surprise to me that some will defend the indefensible.
Human nature to ignore the obvious, innit? I would sack Coyle right now if I had the power to so do. Yes, before the game tomorrow and leave it to the senior players to sort out the tactics, etc. We are going down anyway and so get the players to put their cocks on the block for once. There again I would have sacked him in October and each subsequent week.
