Although Petrov hasn't exactly set the world alight I cant think of many better :(

NRC perhaps if he didn't get newcomer.

Petrov has been head and shoulders above everyone else in the last few months and probably deserves it imv. Got to say don't get the NRC love atm. He has been very patchy for a while(admittedly might be injury induced) but has almost looked a liability in the last three games. I'd still want him starting though!

I'm not with the NRC love-in either. He certainly fits the 'mediocre' song for me.
He's not been good enough in my opinion but has STILL been the best of the bunch.

I think it says a lot for our season and performances if my top pick was Sam Ricks. To only play about a third of the season (third to half) and still be in with a shout really shames the rest of the shower of shit this season.

Bloody Petrov though? I mean, come on…
He’s been much improved since Christmas (Blackburn away noticeably) but POTY? Bugger me!

Who else were they going to pick?

It's like putting every regular off this forum in a line, telling them to crouch down and do a shit, walk away and let a neutral pick the best one.

To be fair to Nige, its no easy task to play alongside Mark Davies (even though Mark has a lot to offer) in a 4-4-2 as he has so often this season. I really think that he's the least of our problems at the moment. In fact, I'd go as far as to say that without him we'd have been relegated weeks ago.
