Re: wba at home
Certainly more this than any lack of heart/effort.That last substitution was absolutely bizarre. Petrov was playing well, our only real threat but more importantly Mavis as ever has disappeared and an unfit NRC is totally incapable of holding possession or stemming the constant flow of WBA through our midfield. It had to be Vela for Mavis C YL was never going to change the momentum of the game. Owen Coyle is Father Doughal Maguire and now we are nailed on relegated. The thing is we had every chance /opportunity to save ourselves but Shit for Brains has to keep feckin it up with his idiotic fantasy world approach.newboy wrote:Yet again clueless substitutions from the tactical genius you brain dead fecker chucking on a lad that hadn't played all season hoping it would turn the game when it was the midfield that needed shoring up what a feckin useless wanker he truly is 11 years gone
Time for a change
The klasnic sub kind of worked on one level but the reality was it helped completely conceed midfield because him and KD cant press the back four. Simply handed control to WBA and left us relying on dumb luck and a hoped for flash of genius again. How many times has he done that sort of stuff this year. That's the main reason we're going down. Morese than any injuries or misfortune it's pure stupid basic lack of tactical nouse.

Stoke will want revenge for the 5-0 earlier in the season, just like we did after the cup semi.lovethesmellofnapalm wrote:its not in our own hands though is it?
we can win they win - we're down.
i'd say us winning at Stke is only just more likely than QPR winning at City.

Yes true. I don't care which striker comes off, but an extra mid needed to be on!Verbal wrote:Ngog was already off by that point, no?

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to get blind drunk.
Me too. I can't think of anything else to do in this situation

Re: wba at home
Absolutely no chance of beating Stoke the game that needed to be won was today's and once again He manages to cock it up the annoying thing is he just can't see it no matter how many times it happens he just keeps doing it .
We are down and not coming back you useless tosser coyle

We've already beaten Stoke 5-0 and QPR, who are terrible away, are playing the best side in the league. I wouldn't fancy us to beat them but we have a much better chance. I wouldn't put a pound on QPR winning or picking up a point if the odds were 50/1.

Re: wba at home
This was Coyles hull. Pathetic how we just sat back for the last twenty minutes. Our managers failings all too obvious again. The man has lost us points, this season. He's our Achilles heel. Which is so frustrating. Failure upon failure upon failure. Players tried hard in spite of the moron in charge. Shambolic in every sense.
No confidence that we won't be fighting to avoid league one next season.

It can be done, QPR aren't getting anything next weekend.

Who in their right mind would stick with 4-4-2 when we are 2-0 up and looking like keeping our top flight status?
Just beyond belief. What was Coyle hoping for? To snatch a third and really rub it in? We were bloody under the kosh for 15 minutes, getting played all over the place by their midfield.

Re: wba at home
Absolutely sickening to watch one stubborn inept man single-handedly ruin what others worked so hard to build over 12-13 years. Losing Wheater was a blow, but when you're gifted a 2-0 lead with 20 minutes to go, for the love of good just shut up shop man. Bring your tiring striker off and pack midfield. But no, he brings a striker on.
Then at 2-1 he's still like a rabbit in the headlights, so deranged with fear that he brings on an attacker that's not played competitive football for over a year. Words fail me. Unspeakable ineptitude on an epic scale. BRING ON SOME DEFENSIVE PLAYERS AND HOLD ON. But no, let's get relegated instead. It's not that he's fixated with his footballing principles either - we play awful football. He just doesn't know any better.
At least I'll be there to watch our last game and, hopefully, the second miracle of the season.

Coyle is probably scratching his head right now wondering why we lost our grip completely on a game when we were two nil up against a team with nothing to play for. He usually blames the players on these occasions doesnt he?CarlosHernandez wrote:Who in their right mind would stick with 4-4-2 when we are 2-0 up and looking like keeping our top flight status?

Re: wba at home
The equation remains the same. 4 points from last 2 should keep us up. We got 1 today and need 3 at Stoke. There is hope as we play better away from home, and we need a lot of luck as, truth be told, we really look like a poor team.
I was flabagasted when I saw Klasnic coming on for Ngog. What was OC thinking? He gives us nothing. The amount of time he gave away the ball in promising positions..I just lost count.
Petrov and Boyata were the best players for us today. Next week, everyone has to play with determination and guts. Stoke has nothing to play for. We can do it.
