Saying its not all his fault is sitting on the fence though.norm the jedi wrote:There's a suggestion that a lot of folk think Coyle is doing a good job..

He's either a good manager or he's not. Just an attempt the fudge the issue.
Hes either a manager you want to be in charge of your club or he isn't.

I don't. I just think due to his ineptitude weve got little choice given eddies going to foot the bill of relegation.thebish wrote:BWFC_Insane wrote:Saying its not all his fault is sitting on the fence though.norm the jedi wrote:There's a suggestion that a lot of folk think Coyle is doing a good job..

If I had enough money to run the club he's be out on his arse. Well he'd have gone in November.

Some people, me for instance, would say that injuries and the like have played a part in our downfall..
Shades of grey, Fudge isn't grey and allowing for middle ground makes more sense than he's good he's crap..
it allows those of us who think there's happen a bit more to it to register our voice....
and anyway it's my poll so ner..

Is there a net spend limit before you can participate?
Option 3 for me.

There are shades of grey to everything, I agree.norm the jedi wrote:BWFC_Insane wrote:Saying its not all his fault is sitting on the fence though.norm the jedi wrote:There's a suggestion that a lot of folk think Coyle is doing a good job..

But ultimately do you WANT Coyle as manager or not?
That's the ultimate acid test.

If we hadn't had those injuries would we have been ok? Probably yes.
Would a better manager have kept us up with those injuries? Probably yes.

The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

I think you are sitting on the fence... would you sack him or not? it's a simple question - but you are avoiding it.

If I was running the club I'd tell him I never want to see him again and boot him and his useless backroom staff through the door, whilst simultaneously lifting the lid to the press on how clueless he and his staff were and how much of a balls up he's made with a club that's survived and more in the top flight for 11 years.thebish wrote:BWFC_Insane wrote:I don't. On balance I think we are as well giving him a go at fixing it as we would be getting in a unknown to do feck knows what.. I don't think decent managers are exactly lying about and at least he has displayed the pedigree to get a broadly similar club to ourselves [historically] out of the Championship.. and if we get to October and we're still shite.. fair enough have another look..

He's incompetent & totally clueless - and shouldn't be allowed to manage a car boot sale never mind a championship / premiership football team

If you want him as manager you therefore must think he is good. Either that or think we are so small a club that we can only get shite to manage us, which is quite sad.norm the jedi wrote:which is another question..BWFC_Insane wrote:There are shades of grey to everything, I agree.norm the jedi wrote:BWFC_Insane wrote:Saying its not all his fault is sitting on the fence though.norm the jedi wrote:There's a suggestion that a lot of folk think Coyle is doing a good job..

Our last manager had a good record of getting sides promoted. So does Neil Warnock. Either of those would have given us a better chance of staying up this season too!

Theres absolutely nothing in either managers record to suggest anything of the sort.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I voted that he's bob-on, just so I can carry on trying to out myself as an Owen Coyle apologist.

Aye, I can remember The Great Escape being disignated as his signature tune.BWFC_Insane wrote: Our last manager had a good record of getting sides promoted. So does Neil Warnock. Either of those would have given us a better chance of staying up this season too!
