injured maybe

or just plain bo!!ocks
Yes this was doing the rounds at the game on Sunday. Also stated that he'll be sold in the summer after the fall out. Could be bollocks.

I would have preferred to spend the amount on an experienced full back and maybe an extra midfielder at the time(although no one could have predicted our decimation in the centre of the park).

Regardless of whatever happened I just don't get the logic of getting one for the future in our situation and spending £4m in the process. And then not play him! Not much logic in Coyle's head though.

sordell has been kept as a secret Premiership weapon - under wraps so that his skillz can't be properly prepared for - to be unleashed like a titan of footballing messiahship against Stoke. word.

I'm fairly convinced Chungy was unleashed last weekend-and will also feature this weekend-just to get him in the shop window as a precursor to Coyle spending all the summer transfer window whoring him out at every opportunity.

Thing with Sordell is Coyle had been looking at him, liked what he saw, but knew that Cardiff were interested in him for their play off push.

From what I heard, Coyle bought him when he did, to make sure he didn't go to Cardiff.

Which then begs the question. If we wanted him in the summer, but had to act swiftly to ensure we didn't miss out entirely. Why didn't we loan him out to Cardiff. There was enough time left in the window to do it.

You're assuming we didn't.

Well yes, thats what you're assuming. Cardiff may well have not wanted him on loan after he'd "snubbed" them.

I thought you could only be contracted to 2 clubs per year? so would we have had to loan him back to Watford if anyone? I might be wrong. Coyle may have bought him thinking Davies might not come back into some sort of form and if Klasnic or N'gog got injured we would have been screwed. Last think you would want is going into games needing to win with no Striker.

That's a good point. Which raises the same question, but with a different club..

Yeah, apparently the story was that Coyle asked Malky Mackay his opinion of him, Mackay said he wasn't ready for the Premiership, so Coyle was going to leave it until the summer, but Mackay, knowing he was available, went in with an offer. Cheeky bastard.

No, I'm sure your right. I thought we'd have loaned that big lot from Oldham back to them (as did Latics fans), but we didn't. Is he getting a run out in the stiffs? He appears to have fallen off of my radar! :?

Surely that was just an honest asessment, one that Coyle clearly agrees with?

Maybe, but MacKay could have said it just so he could buy him.

You can only play for two clubs. Until he played for us we could've loaned him to Cardiff.
