The BBC wrote:In the realms of fantasy, Bolton would stay up if they won by nine or more goals and QPR were held to a draw - or if Owen Coyle's side won while making up a 17-goal swing in goal difference against Aston Villa, who would have to suffer a horrendously heavy defeat at Norwich.

We have a gloriously sunny day here in, the studio. We've seen some action this morning as well. Mark Lawrenson. Good night.

to be fair, Brian, at the end of the day, it does say "in the realms of fantasy". Y'know. Obviously.ohjimmyjimmy wrote:The feck are they on about?
Have just tried to think brightside by acknowledging that relegation would free us from the Links/Lawro/Hansen/Shearer smug-in, but instead we'd have rabbit-in-headlights Manish and Steve Bloody Claridge. Hmmm.

Ah yes. Now he's not as bad. Although instead of calling his son Liam, he should have called him Leroy, too. Leroy Rosenior Jr.ohjimmyjimmy wrote:And an occasional Leroy Rosenior...

Re: Day of Destiny/Doomsday: Stoke away
This just might really turn out as game of the season. No more matches, league positions immaterial (to us at least, as if we lose it won't matter anyway) and a loss means goodbye to the "ahem" Barclay's Premier League", reduced wages, possible transfers and some just not getting contract renewals. There's just no way we'll play like we have been doing. I really believe we'll do it , so ou they come again....

F*cking Steve "f*cking" Claridge.
Thats motivation enough not to want to be relegated, surely?

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Does anyone know of somewhere to park? Got to drive up from the south from work otherwise I would catch the train but heading back to Bolton after.
Re: Day of Destiny/Doomsday: Stoke away
In the past we have parked in the industrial estate next to the ground. Cost £5 last season.A bit of a wait after the match to get out but I doubt this will matter which ever way the result goes .........

It'll be fine. It's only the championship. Not Scarborogh away.adamworthy2002 wrote:I'm scared, tell me it's all going to be okay?!

We're winning. City leading 1-0 going into the last five minutes, hearing United are losing at Sunderland. The party starts and everyone forgets to mark Cisse...
