Confidence
A lot of people on here seem to be accepting the fact we are already down, which in my opinion is a long way from settled.
I am wondering how many people would prefer to be QPR at the moment and need to get a point away from home, with one of the worst away records in the league, against City playing for the title when they have only dropped two points at home all season.
I think I would rather be in our shoes than QPR going into this weekend! ( Not putting my mortgage on it may have a sneeky tennor though )

Re: Confidence
if i was a QPR fan, id be absolutely convinced Bolton cant beat Stoke. id be content that both sides will lose and QPR stay up.

Convinced they'd lose to a team they've already beaten 5-0?General Mannerheim wrote:if i was a QPR fan, id be absolutely convinced Bolton cant beat Stoke. id be content that both sides will lose and QPR stay up.
We have the best away form of any of the bottom half teams too, so the fact we're away isn't as big of a deal as it would be for other clubs.

Re: Confidence
Ofcourse we hasve a chance, anything can happen. It's not impossible even that qPR should park the bus have some luck and get a miracle point. For me though I'm surprised at how indifferent I am about this now. We've been poorly managaed so even if we get a few breaks at Stoke I can still see us snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.I suppose the indifference is doiwn to having no belief that next year will be no better than this if we stay up and somehoiw it doesnt feel like we deserve to stay up(and yes I know "the tablenever lies".....)
Re: Confidence
I'd prefer to be in QPRs position. I'd take the view that Bolton must go to Stoke and attack, yet they have one of the most porous defences in the league so under those circumstances they're likely to conceed at some point. The longer Bolton go without scoring the more susceptible they would be to the counter attack. My main concern would be Bolton going a couple of goals up early on because I don't think Stoke would chase the game too hard in that position.

What does the score from earlier in the season have to do with this?SmokinFrazier wrote:Convinced they'd lose to a team they've already beaten 5-0?General Mannerheim wrote:if i was a QPR fan, id be absolutely convinced Bolton cant beat Stoke. id be content that both sides will lose and QPR stay up.

We've also lost more away from home than all but one of the bottom half teams.
Re: Confidence
I know I seem a bit negative so I'm going to balance it with this:
Stoke: We're gonna kick em in the dick.
Stoke: We're gonna kick em in the dick.

Re: Confidence
Here's my confidence, I've been singing "Barnsley away on a Tuesday night, Hull at home on a Friday night..." to the tune of "Ring Of Fire" for the last week or so.
Re: Confidence
Always rather have the points on the board, but if QPR quickly go behind at City they'll have that feeling of sickly helplessness while our game is still in the balance.

They probably had that feeling when we were 2–0 up at West Brom...
Re: Confidence
If we swapped places I'd be absolutely shitting it, convinced that QPR would beat Stoke.
Really though, it's not important what the fixtures make you feel before the game, or even during parts of it.

Re: Confidence
Not got much TBH but there is still a chance to survive.
What a rotton season its been so far, the injuries, Moo, finding out Coyle really is 'the great pretender', Gartside losing his marbles and decent towards another civil war in the ranks! Moved on from Megson? I don't think so.
Hope should be the buzzword, hope sanity and reality surfaces from the cinders of our Premier league dream.

Re: Confidence
All we can do is hope.
At least we have a chance of staying up and we need all those who are lucky enough to be able to go to make as much noise as possible to urge our lads on.
Come on you Whites!!!!!!

Come on you Whites!!!!!!
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED
