What bit of what I said is wrong ? Do you think like the other one that the money you got is a good deal for Cahill?William the White wrote:Not at all to do with intellect, just a cool judgment of the quality of your contribution...Karma wrote:Yes, after being called a fucking numb cunt, I thought I would reply on your intellectual level to maybe get through to you.a1 wrote:its like that is it ?Karma wrote:No need for that language 'Lord Kangana' I didn't suggest that. I just didn't get what the point in selling him for little money when you were going to get relegated anyway, is that money really going to help you now? I suppose you can say it was a good choice considering you spent it on two championship standard players in Ream and Sordell. How many games has sordell played and scored in? Money well spent! Cahill would have saved you that extra point or two you would have needed, but selling Cahill was admitting you were doomed. The money from being in the Premier League, I mean BARCLAYS Premier League, would have made up for Cahill walking on a free. Are you lot that inbred and thick you can't see what I mean?
feck off.
The evidence is there above...
Try again, I'm hopeful if you work hard you'll post something interesting... Go for it...

You do realise that he was going out of contract, so selling him for "feck all" as opposed to giving him away was quite a good deal.
Did you used to post on here with the name abs, as I am sure that we have had this same conversation before.
Cahill is a good player.
You didn't finish far off safety.
With Cahill in the side instead of that clown Ream I believe you would have gathered a couple more points.
Now in my opinion the 7 million (correct me if I'm wrong there) you received is nothing compared to the 40 million you will lose on TV revenue alone, that's not counting any sponsorships or corporate deals you may have also had.
Furthermore, wasting said 7 million on unproven BARCLAYS premier league players didn't seem like a good deal at the time to anyone with a brain (except mr barclays premier league) so in my opinion it wasn't "quite a good deal" as you say.
And no I have never posted on here before, I don't support Bolton thank God.

Thank you, do you now want to try and read the rest of what I wrote and respond with intelligence? I can take the abuse, would also like some discussion to go a long with it as that's what I'm here for really, the banter is part and parcel but without substance it's just weakdrummergeek wrote:karma your coming on a bwfc fan forum on the day we got relegated and taking the mick you obviously wanted some abuse.
Re: Help me understand....
Why did we sell Cahill? With Cahill we were shite. Without Cahill we were shite with more money. Which would you choose?
Re: Help me understand....

Choose life, choose keeping Cahill, choose being a bit of a bellend....
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Re: Help me understand....
Oh FFS if it makes you pi55 off;
The club were in the relegation zone while Cahill was here.
He was out of contract in the summer.
We had a choice of making him stay and an unhappy player staying in a struggling team and leaving for nowt in June or
Getting a very generous £7m.
We chose the latter option. It could have been wrong who knows? Not me and certainly not some p rick that doesn't support us.
That do you?

Re: Help me understand....
I would say you were shitter without Cahill plus the 1m or so left over after buying Ream and Sordell, if you got 15-20m for him I would understand.LiOC wrote:Why did we sell Cahill? With Cahill we were shite. Without Cahill we were shite with more money. Which would you choose?
So I would choose with him, as he is a good player and like I said the money is worthless if you lose 40m dropping out the division. I would have even played him up front instead of someone like N'gog if your manager was so intent on playing someone like Ream who just wasn't up to speed when he came to the league.

Re: Help me understand....
Well you obviously haven't even been watching our defence all season. We would probably have gone down with Cahill too, our defence was arguably worse while he was here. Stop talking about things you don't know about.Karma wrote:I would say you were shitter without Cahill plus the 1m or so left over after buying Ream and Sordell, if you got 15-20m for him I would understand.LiOC wrote:Why did we sell Cahill? That you reap what you sow, a couple years ago some members of this forum celebrated my team going down so thought I'd pop on and see if you're as smug now.CrazyHorse wrote:What's your point caller?Karma wrote:I would say you were shitter without Cahill plus the 1m or so left over after buying Ream and Sordell, if you got 15-20m for him I would understand.LiOC wrote:Why did we sell Cahill? Re: Help me understand....
I forgot all these £20m bids lining up for him, the bid came in with a good price for a player with 6 months on his contract. We're an honest club and if one of our players has the chance to go and play in the Champions League and a suitable offer is on the table, we're not going to deny him the opportunity.Karma wrote:I would say you were shitter without Cahill plus the 1m or so left over after buying Ream and Sordell, if you got 15-20m for him I would understand.LiOC wrote:Why did we sell Cahill? Your reserves for 8 months? Really? So your 25 man squad was injured for the season and you had to play a team of reserves?a1 wrote:not bothered .
