There's a quote that the definition of madness is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results.
That's exactly what we've all seen for over 12 months, and 2 transfer windows. Fitness levels of a pub team, a lack of tacklers and pace throughout, rigid 4-4-2's, Paul Robinson, Zat Knight, N'Gog, subbing Muamba, non-playing Sordell, no closing down, the list goes on.
Seriously fearing next season on the Championship. Hopefully Coyle will fall on his sword, and a new man can have a full summer to re-build and prepare for a long hard slog.
And now for some beer...
I saw more spark from Sordell in 20 minutes today than I've seen from any of our strikers all season. Bit of power, movement and capable of controlling a football. What in god's name has Coyle been thinking?
Whatever he's been thinking, it doesn't involve swords or falling on them

Hopefully while he's regrouping, he'll have a longer think about it.

Re: JUST FCUK OFF
Being one of the last of Coyle disciples on the board (and still hanging in there, barely...) THIS and fecking THIS!! I could understand if the other strikers we're scoring goals for fun, but what does it do to the lads confidence if you can't get into a side in the relegation scrap after being the big marquee signing of the January transfer window. I felt genuinely sick at the fact he was brought on in the last ten minutes of todays game, almost a 'well here's the premier league football we promised, enjoy it while you can' from the management. Now I know this 99% wasn't the case, it just got to me a little bit. First time we've had a young, hungry striker that was ACTUALLY ours and he doesn't get a fair crack at the stick.50sQuiff wrote:A rather accurate first post, unfortunately! Welcome to the forum. i'm guessing its all bluff.officer_dibble wrote:Has he signed a contract then?
the internet would be all over it if he had.
he's probably asked for them to employ the other half of his family and friends. and even phil and eddie are having doubts about that.
"do we need an assistant bib holder ?"

Re: JUST FCUK OFF
The word on the street is that he's a lazy trainer. And Coyle was trying not to reward that. I have no idea how true this is.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Re: JUST FCUK OFF
Well done Mr Cnut err Coyle you half brained tw*t!!
Well done Mr 'FA' Gartside, now three strikes and your out!
Well done all you clots who refused to do anything to protest when nice Mr Coyle, the Bolton bell end, was as good as taking us down last October. I hope you are happy! Supporting and loving your club does not mean you have to be blindly loyal to a manager he goes the club stays!
Too many have been fed too much shite from Gartside who should be gone, swallowed too much of Coyle’s propaganda and by their complete total feckin' apathy must shoulder some responsibility for what has happened.
Why should Coyle be given another chance? He has already proven to be a failure.
We are now in Megson territories were people would not go while Coyle remains and that along with the loss of premier league cash and status will hardly help our debt or ability to get decent players! (Unless Coyle starts to sign Five year olds for the future)

Think Caps has had a few!!
Still right though. La plus ca change.
We'll still lose games we should draw next year. And it will cost us. Coz our 'young' manager is a dinosaur. With no plan. Hopefully the players are good enough to overcome that.

In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.
