Re: Help me understand....
No you're reading what you want to read, I'm saying you should have gambled because you maybe would have had a better chance to stay up. More of a chance buying an unproven defender and a striker who never plays. How is that so wrong? The 7 million in football terms is not that much if you fall into the black hole that is the championship and lose the premier league revenue.Notakalou wrote:So we should gamble on losing him on a free and just hope that his performances after this disapointment single handedly pull us out of trouble. We were in a relegation fight with him and he wasn't exactly performing well, we were in a relgation fight without him it was always going to be that way. If you honestly believe that keeping Cahill would have solved all our problems then I seriously under estimated your stupidity.Karma wrote:I didn't say there were any 20m bids lined up, I said I could understand IF there was. My point was that 7 million or so isn't a suitable offer considering what's at stake for your whole club in the bigger picture. You should have kept him as he had a contract unless they mean nothing at an 'honest club' But hey as long as Cahill gets to play in the champions league after villas boas got the sack then that's ok you don't need the premier league you're an honest clubNotakalou wrote: I forgot all these £20m bids lining up for him, the bid came in with a good price for a player with 6 months on his contract. We're an honest club and if one of our players has the chance to go and play in the Champions League and a suitable offer is on the table, we're not going to deny him the opportunity.![]()

Edit: And even if he wasn't playing well, are you trying to say he was the reason you were down there? Thought not. In a relegation fight, they normally come about because more than one player isn't playing well you know
Re: Help me understand....
I tell you what, why don't you actually go do some work? If you need to wind up some fans who are obviously going to be wound up due to just being relegated may I suggest you go and sort your life out instead.Karma wrote:I'm at work bored so why not I might as well return the favour. They are home truths, your manager is terrible, ream and sordell were terrible buys, you didn't finish far off safety, you should have kept cahill as you'd have a better chance of staying up if he is champions league quality, the 7million wasn't a good dealLiOC wrote:Wow, you think we have pathetic fans so you decided to sink to our level and come on to wind us up? How mature. Random predictions that noone can prove made on watching Cahill/Ream on MotD don't equal home truths.Karma wrote: Incorrect, I was pointed here on twitter whilst bored at work and only seen it tonight. I was surprised to be honest always liked Bolton gave big allocations cheap tickets but never knew you had some pathetic fans. I'm just returning the favour but with home truths and not celebrating it.
That's a few of the home truths, maybe you don't agree because you're in denial and coyle has brainwashed you lot with his outrageous positivity.
P.S. Shockingly none of us thing Coyle is the messiah, we don't think Ream and Sordell are worldbeaters but nor do we think Cahill is that good to carry a team he failed to carry for half of the season.

I'm not trying to get 'accepted into the respected other club posters club' whatever that is you sad man, like I said, I'm just telling it how I see it. If I wanted to go on a 'WUM' then I would have come on like the lad from bury and just hammer your pathetic club but there was no need for that route you know how poor it is.jaffka wrote:Well your not doing a very good job at being accepted into the respected other club posters club, you are in fact coming across as a bit of kant who is on WUMIncorrect, I was pointed here on twitter whilst bored at work and only seen it tonight. Judas has no flexibility, it was becoming apparent at the Turf after the honeymoon period. He sticks with players when they are not performing because he feels he is right and his back room are simply yesmen. Take Eagles for example - has a lung problem and cannot physically sustain a pace suited to the Prem, couldn't hit a barn door at two paces even if he lived next door to Specsavers. But Judas seems to think he is Messi.
Compare Judas to Brendan Rodgers or Martinez and you will see the difference. The latter adapt to the opposition, whilst your manager is a one trick pony. Once the opposition manager figures out how he sets up his teams its a doddle to whip you lot.
I am so glad you're down, you deserve it and your manager deserves it. Bolton were the most unpopular team in the Prem and everyone will be glad to see you drop. Whats more, you will never make it in the Championship with that squad and that manager and the bank manager knocking. Both you and Rovers are looking at administration in the face. With the fairplayrules coming in to the championship you are in trouble.
Justice is SO sweet.
I would love to see those faces that greeting Judas as a 'legend' now cursing him! what hypocrites!
Cant wait to hammer you next season.
[Notice in the interviews how its never the manager's fault when you get whipped? Why does he always praise the opposition? Is it because he already knows he can't cut it in the Prem?]
HO ho ho Christmas has come early in Burnley!!!

OK tough guy. A lot of talk but no balls to tell us who your team is. Are you ashamed of them and come on our boards to overcome your insecurities? Worry about your own team and let us worry about ours. We will be back... and sooner than you may think.Karma wrote:It's the ref's fault stormer, can't be crazy coyle's.
