I am thinking of having a bit of wip around for some batteries for coffey's radio and those gentlemens tablets that promote a requirment for him to become biblically familiar with his misses (the word of the tablets is banned).

Well this is how it went.

Up early and 5live on. Jesus Christ that's one shit radio station they've got there (better than Talksport but not by much).

Spent the morning listening to City fans talking about wahwahwahwahwah all friggin day.

Boy in full away kit and me in the home kit, I even dug out an old 88/89 'Normid' shirt for teeny-weeny to put on - and it fitted her like a dress.

At 1-0 down I wasn't worried. All the 'lucky' things were in place. I turned to the boy and said 'Goal at the brittania!' and sure enough about 10 seconds later the radio repeated what I'd just cosmically ordered.

Five mins later I did it again.

And again the cosmos obliged.

Two of the luckiest goals you'll see brought about by nothing other than the magic powers, sometimes referred to as 'Coffeymagic'.

It all fell apart at half time. I'd been in constant ear shot of the radio since about 7.30am but I had to run upstairs - I was up and down in a flash but the second half had already started. Then Teeny started moaning that the bri-nylon acitate was making her hot and the 'Cowdrill 3' shirt came off.

The boy tried to force it back on - he understands how the Universe works but she wasn't having it. 'You're not watching the telly till you put that back on' he said blocking Peppa Pig. Tears followed and while I admired his efforts I had to pull him away.

'It'll be ok' I lied.

That's when it started. QPR equalised, and then scored again and it all seemd to go flat at Stoke.

It came as no surprise when they equalised and no further surpise when I learned Ream had missed a sitter at the death.

I had one upset, confused boy on my hands last night.

He'll get over it. We all do.

On a different note it now appears that I am pretty much Jesus. If you want to follow me you can, please send money.
I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.
