Fat load of chance that Sean Davis, Ricardo Gardner, Robbie Blake, Paul Robinson will still p-p-p-pick up a payslip. Zat Knight might fluke one due to defensive depth problems, but whatever he was on needs halving. Petrov and Klasnic not the men for this division, and Steinsson's position is covered. Jussi needs to ask for as little as a Mike Pollitt might. There's only Sam Ricketts that I'd strive to keep, and with a wage bill cut by that much, we'll have room to bring others in. I'd be amazed if we don't sign three players this summer.

It might not feel like it at the mo but we have a strong position here, especially if we have potential replacements lined up. There'll be a lot of players available, so let's balance the necessities.

I was doing some quite serious drinking at this event so don't remember it all but re: PG and OC

Phil spoke emotionally first up, it was obviously difficult for him.. He spoke candidly about us not being good enough this year, but confirmed Coyle will be manager next season (although he had to considering Coyle was the next speaker!). Again made mention of Eddie Davies and spoke about Muamba of course.

Coyle spoke well as he always does.. More talk about younger players and youth team players coming through (the plan). I didn't think it was particularly harsh on the existing lot, but it was assumed that a few of them will be off, as we know.. The jist just as you'd expect around coming back better next season, what else could it be. I wasn't expecting a personal apology for our set piece defending.
