One of those legendary drives to work...every light was on green, every single one.
Harwood to Asda at Burnden Park, 9 minutes, in rush hour

Nice one Diniyar!
Today I'm happy that the 23rd of July, and Gaslight's new album is not that far away!

Re: Today I'm happy about......
just secured 3 free tickets to go and see the recording of Rufus Hound's R4 Teenage Diaries comedy show...
all of which is a bit - meh - though it's an interesting thing to do..
except that...
all those who suffer through Rufus Hound also get free tickets to a June recording of QI - which is my younger son's favourite TV programme - and he will have just turned 18, so will be old enough to go - and it is handily placed just before we leave London!

Still not convinced. I mean, they're okay but they don't sound quite sure of themselves.
Do they want to be Springsteen?

I get what you mean. The Springsteen-esqueness of them can be a little off-putting.Gary the Enfield wrote:Prufrock wrote:Nice one Diniyar!

They are from New Jersey, I think from the same part. They love him and he has a massive influence on them. This is all a good thing because personally, I think they have their own sound. Influenced. But not the same.Bruce Rioja wrote:I get what you mean. The Springsteen-esqueness of them can be a little off-putting.Gary the Enfield wrote:Prufrock wrote:Nice one Diniyar!

What's that to do with anything? The Beatles are from Liverpool, as are The Farm.Prufrock wrote: They are from New Jersey, I think from the same part.
