Conman & Liar

Post by Hoboh » Thu May 17, 2012 8:38 am

I thought we did not "do short term fixes at BWFC now? This was said by the prick after the January transfer window, we sign youth for the future not short term fixes or buy in players with experience short term.
Now just hold on Mr conman & liar please explain what re-signing Donkey Davo, poss Jussi and a few other old timers is then? Had you taken this approach in January instead of still having your head up your arse thinking you were this great manager, we would still be in the Prem!!!

All tho i agree with what your saying

But i imagine the reason where resigning those players is because we haven't got no fvcking money to but new one's

And i would much rather keep Jussi and Davo on reduced terms because they actually care about the club and they can still do a job in the championship
Never get into an argument with an idiot. i'll bring you down to my level and beat you with experience

I think we must be very close to the activism tipping-point now... sweat is breaking out on Garty's brow..

just two or three more threads on Bolton Message boards and he'll be forced to sack Coyle...

Give it a rest, Hoboh. We're all sick of this tune, why don't you break out something different?

Rather than go through the hassle of buying a surfeit of players with money we ain't got and haggling new contracts, we can keep on a couple of old hands who can do a job and are willing to take a pay cut. Not the same as "short-term" gains.

I agree though, they've some redeeming to do this coming season. Championship's not a bad place to blood youngsters and youth teams player though...

I might be in a minority but I for one am Happy that Kevin Davies has re-signed also with the news that Petrov is likely to be staying. Jussi really isn't up for debate as he will more than likely be leaving and even if he was to stay wouldn't be a bad reserve.

My reasons for this are there is no doubt that KD can still do a job in the Championship and his experiance is something that Sordell will tap into and make him a better all round player. I would not start with him N'gog and Sordell have to start but you need experiance in a side and KD has that in abundance if we play all 18 year olds who when games come to the crunch is going to talk to them and guide them.

Petrov was by far and away our best player towards the end of the season and will hopefully cause Championship defenders big problems so if his form was not temporary then he will be an asset.

As for 4-4-2 I would have no issue with this in the Championship at this moment but this could change as season goes on we should not be torn apart at this level like we were at the premiership providing we keep the players we had bar NRC in the premiership. We were in mid table prem form from Dec 26th to end of season therefore that will be good enough for this level.

All in all I am looking forward to the season the team we have is good enough lets hope they prove it.

Your not mate, on both counts. Perhaps if it was still premier league competition it may not be the case but they've been our stand out players the last five games of the season.

We spend a few mil on getting rid of Coyle, then what? McLeish or Grant come in and take us straight back to the prem and onto europe? He may have struggled this season but the guy has brought a team up before

I agree with the above. When you're putting youngsters in, you need to mix them with experienced pro's. Sometimes when the going gets tough the younger players will need carrying little bit. Particularly away from home. The younger players will find at times, but they'll come out of the other side better for it. That's when you need the likes of Davies, Ricketts and dare I say it.. Knight.

Just noted in today's Bolton News that it's 25 years ago today we were relegated to the old Fourth Division under Phil Neal. I remember it well.
Now that would have given Hoboh something to moan about !!

As much as I love Klasnic if it was a choice between him and KD I believe we kept the right one Sordell can score goals at this level and N'Gog should as well so Klasnic really shouldn't be missed and if he is then we have a problem. KD on the otherhand gives you something other players don't have would run through brick walls for the club can't think of any other player to whom BWFC means so much to.

Just think I am sure there have been many instancies when we have been tying up a deal for him and other clubs have tapped him up expecially at his prime two or three years ago but he never left repaying the faith we (no other prem club) showed in him. I think the fans that get on his back should show him a bit of respect sure he isn't the greatest but he has a big heart and love for BWFC

My worry about Coyle and next season is his capacity for learning from his mistakes..I have no doubt we will start the season 442.and gung ho. Last Christmas he finally relented and used the more successfull 451. Then we had the Wigan game and instead of considering how they had evolved he went 442 cos we beat them with it at the DW. I have no doubt our injuries played a large part in getting us relegated, but so did coyles failure to learn/stubbornness.

There is also his 'jobs for the boys' backroom staff..How many goals did we ship off set peices? We conceded an average of 2 goals a game because of our poorly organised defence. How will that be addressed by the same dickheads we have on the coaching staff? And yet Coyle sticks with them. Probably a good laugh. These are my.concerns.

My concern with KD isn't that, at this level, he can still give some defences nightmares, but that he has ... for all that he's given us .. never EVER forged a successful partnership with anyone. Never. He's fckd a few others careers up at the same time btw.

So I am concerned that he isn't able to bring along Sordell, or Eaves, or whoever.

I am aslo concerned that, unless he fcks his wife-off ... or kills her twitter account ... we'll be the victims of some vitriolic tweets if her hubby isn't given 40+ games.

Jussi ... it depends what contract he signs. He's held us to ransom so often it's good to see the boot on the other foot for once. Sure he's done us well, but the continuous "will he, won't he" saga's have me so-so about whether he stays or go's. If he signs a contract which is satisfactory to us then he'll be a good, very good #2.

Petrov, I'm glad to see some others finally value him. If he stays he could be a major influence for us. Howver, see above re KD, if we don't have forwards who can get up there quick enough to capitalise then his efforts are all for nought.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".
