What are you playing tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Dear me. Campo - there's clue enough in the preceding 190, yes, 190 pages of this thread to give any poster, new or no, sufficient indication that it relates to the music that they're playing this evening and not which space-invader game they're playing. There is a thread for that kind of guff but you'll need to track it down. Cheers. ;)

I know saying 'i prefer their earlier work' can come across as cringe-worthily indie sometimes but the nail couldn't be hit more firmly head with this assertion regarding KOL. First three albums were fantastic. Embarrassing to see what they've become.

.... as you're a fan, have you EVER heard his version of Frankie Goes To Hollywood's 'Relx' /

I did, just once, on't wireless but can find no trace of it, anywhere.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Just discovered, on a recent update, tht Kirsty MacColl's'Tropical Brainstorm' has an added 4 tracks.

They are pretty average tbh, but it put me in mind of one of 2000's greatest albums ... good girl Kirsty. bless.

best cover of that record ever is ^ that.

that good they banned it.

banning a cover of a record the bbc banned.

i think that's irony. or being right on humourless bastards or something.

The other day was at JB holding some $5 Clearance cds.
A Guy came up to me and said yesterday he put out some More Metal Clearance in the section.
So I splashed out and got Venom Black Metal for $13

Then went to Clayton to pick up two Cds I had on hold.
on the way home I put on Von, had to turn it off it was overwhelming! (have heard that song though since.)

Yesterday I got some JB money from my Mum
As usual at the Brighton Store there was nothing cheap, but then I came across a massive new Clearance Table!
I got:
Two Opera IX CDs; an Occult band with a Female Singer.
Double album of Gorguts
Mad Caddies Album :o
and a Snuff Cd! one which I had bought at an op shop a while ago, took it home and it was empty!!

Got told there are more clearance sections like that one in the City, I am aching to be paid!!! (I worked two days last week)

Today I got a deal at the Market, three Roy Orbison Cds for $3
Tried to just get one for $2 and say I'd come back to get the others next week, but they wouldn't have it!

Getting my fix of new Frank Zappa has been getting more expensive. Just bought the now out of print 'Civilization Phaze III' for 24 quid. Cheaper than I'd seen it going for (usually around the 35-40 mark) so figured I'd best get it! Can't wait until it arrives.
