Apparently Fulham enquired into Jordan Rhodes offering 3.5 million, Simon Grayson replied "Is that for his left or right leg?"
So I dont think we'll really be seeing him around the reebok

novel approach to the transfer market - sell a player of for parts!! we could do with some of them!!Jez wrote:Apparently Fulham enquired into Jordan Rhodes offering 3.5 million, Simon Grayson replied "Is that for his left or right leg?"

Rhodes looks like a good prospect but Huddersfield have a hugely unrealistic valuation on his head. Nobody who is only proven at League One level should be going for £2m, never mind the £5m or whatever that they want for him. It's ridiculous. He's a good player but plenty of lower level Premier League strikers would score just as many goals in that weak league.

We shall have to see if he knocks the same amount next season.

Huddersfield have just been promoted, sellers market as far as Rhodes is concerned.
Michael O'Halloran also scored a good penalty in the shootout for Sheff Utd, only played for the last few minutes mind.

Rhodes was never in the game today, Sheff Utd centre backs kept him on a leash, but then again the service he needs was piss poor.

I see Rhodes went hiding in the first 5 penalties.
Not impressed by that in relation to a possible multimillion pound price-tag.

Can't see Huddersfield selling but then for my I think we'll see after a handful of games next season whether he deserves a multi-million pound price tag
Pfffft.

No I can't see him leaving either, unless it's to a premier league club.

Indeed, but then I think Huddersfield will ask for a ridiculous amount of money

Based on today and what ive seen of him that Rhodes is probably a good finisher but not much else.
Don't think he will do a thing in the top flight and if they're asking for owt over a million they're having a laugh!

Are you Simon Grayson? How are you so sure that it wasn't down to the manager who took the penalties in what order?the-Bowtun-Warrior wrote:I see Rhodes went hiding in the first 5 penalties.

The lad has scored over 40 goals this season.
If you where Grayson, and he volunteered, would you have had him in the GUARANTEED first 5 to take one? Surely?

He could have scored 400 goals, it makes no difference that it could still be down to the manager who decided (which is usually the case).the-Bowtun-Warrior wrote:Gail Platz wrote:Are you Simon Grayson? Anyway it's irrelevant, we're in the same division as him now so there's no chance.

Not always, many managers ask for 'volunteers'. Bobby Robson always did

I wasn't commenting in relation to us wanting him or even myself wanting him at Bolton.Gail Platz wrote:He could have scored 400 goals, it makes no difference that it could still be down to the manager who decided (which is usually the case).the-Bowtun-Warrior wrote:Gail Platz wrote:Are you Simon Grayson? I'm taking generally about the impression it gave me as a football fan
