There were loads of shorts and undershirts when I went in last week going cheap. Got a couple of things for training myself.Bruce Rioja wrote:So are they getting shot of all the old clobber for chep then? I need a load of new training kit and couldn't give a figgy feck about who's made it or what it looks like.

That would presumably be a separate deal which they may not necessarily wish to sign up for (although of course the asking price would be MUCH lower if we're still in the Championship by the time the contract is up).a1 wrote:adidas arena.LiOC wrote:

Doesn't really matter to the fans though, surely? In 50 years time, it'll still be the Reebok to us.Leyther_Matt wrote:That would presumably be a separate deal which they may not necessarily wish to sign up for (although of course the asking price would be MUCH lower if we're still in the Championship by the time the contract is up).a1 wrote:adidas arena.LiOC wrote:

Spot on. When anyone mentions The Reebok/The 'Bok or whatever I don't even associate it with the brand, to me (and the majority I presume) it's just the name of the ground, will be a strange day when, and I believe they will, change the name for business reasons.truewhite15 wrote:Doesn't really matter to the fans though, surely? But I think it's exactly those reasons which would mean it wouldn't be a great business decision for any company wishing to take over the contract. That said, people get used to it eventually (think the McAlpine Stadium becoming the Galpharm Stadium, even the Nynex Arena becoming the MEN Arena).

Since Burnden Park no longer exists, and Burnden Leisure are involved, it might be nice to re-name the Ground Burnden Park.

I'd like that. All we need to do is raise the money...TANGODANCER wrote:Since Burnden Park no longer exists, and Burnden Leisure are involved, it might be nice to re-name the Ground Burnden Park.

Re: The New Kit Thread
Instead of a name let's give it a sound-effect.
Like an armpit fart.
So newsreaders have to go 'and in today's cup match at the *puts hand under armpit and makes fart noise* '

"At the HUUUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA."
