No what you said was - traditionally we are a Championship team. That's clearly untrue. Tradition doesn't cut off at a convenient point in time to suit your illogic.bwfcdan94 wrote:i give up. what i am basically trying to say is you cant make comparisons unless all variables are the same apart from the one your measuring its like a scientific experimant
Re: where will we finish next season (formally next season)
i thinke we should just agree to have different opinions. but if you think that 2nd trier football is below par for us then you should be mega annoyed at whoever you want to blame for our relegation
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

You blame someone who started just over half our matches?bwfcdan94 wrote:fair nough, who do you blame. i blame knight as you probably know
I blame the person picking them and training/coaching them.

Nobody else correcting him on this? Alreet then, I will...bwfcdan94 wrote:mears has never played for norwich
He said that Mears played AT Norwich. Not FOR Norwich. Do you see the difference? He played for Bolton Wanderers when we played Norwich City. Glad I could clear that up for you.
And now your other mind-boggling point - you seem to be making a lot of those, an exceedingly large percentage of your near-250 posts. That we are traditionally a Championship club. Erm. No, we're not. By your own admission, you weren't old enough to be paying attention the last time we were in the second tier, but as has already been pointed out, quite apart from the last ELEVEN years at the top table, our average position IN THE HISTORY OF THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE is SEVENTEENTH IN THE HIGHEST LEAGUE. It is irrelevant how many leagues there are, because, as has been pointed out to you, we never finished in a position to be relegated to them before they were created anyway.

oh dear - this won't end well!Worthy4England wrote:It's going to be a looooooooooong day.
We have spent more time in the top division (what it's called isn't really relevant) of English football than any other - 73 Seasons, compared to 28 in the second tier, 11 in the third tier and 1 in the fourth tier.

Re: where will we finish next season (formally next season)
I did an all-weekender in Reading, before travelling to Cardiff to watch 'little' Walsall beat them, a monumental piss-up followed. On the day of the Bolton game I drank four pints and could barely walkbwfcdan94 wrote:preffered millenium to wembley as well even if the game was over in 5 mins
Seeing as it's your home town, it's worth pointing out that it's nicer than Bowton, but Reading fans are like cardboard cut-outs in comparison to our mob.
Troll and proud of it.
Re: where will we finish next season (formally next season)
reading is not nicer than bolton, there is someone on each street selling the big issue. i dont even think i have seen someone selling big issue in horwich, have in bolton though
