What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

nope, but have seen up about half way through season 6 now. i loved the Niagra episodes!

its weird having come late to the show, that i kind of know most of the cast from their other subsequent work, where as at the time they are all relatively unknown.

its fecking brilliant.

Asan alternative to Royal Concert avoidance, Freeview 12 has Hope and Glory at 7-20. Very funny in parts, wartime drama cum comedy.

Watch it. Light moments against a background of wartime.

Just back from watching Prometheus - its got at least 2 more sequels in it theres no doubt about that.

I thought it was decent, you can see how the creatures in it will end up becoming the aliens from the original film/s and for a geek like me who was into those films way too much when I was younger, there's some little details thrown in here and there that are nods to the other films too.

Wasnt amazed by it though, I know the term "far fetched" obviously cant really be applied for sci-fi films like this but there were some scenes in it where you thought "even in this film's universe, that just wouldnt happen", and there were a couple of things that went on which I wasnt too impressed by. Birth scene is one example!

But, I look forward to whatever comes next.

(one thing I was not impressed by was the trailer for the Total Recall remake - no need!)

watched 'Chronicle' last night, liked it very much - kind of a teenage half Hancock half Lawnmower Man. Ace.

Well Annie Lennox may have sung her last. She was shite.

The light/projection shows are stunning ... esp. the ones for Madness. Even if you aren't into this catch a watch of 'Our House' on YouTube. Utterly amazing.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Couldn't stomach the concert after catching a fleeting glimpse of Lenny Henry introducing Robbie Williams - that was bad enough but then I heard Paul effing McCartney was headlining.

I concur Harry. Is it just me or are Sir Macca and The Beatles the most over rated acts of all time???

I notice that all of the comedians went down like a lead balloon. I was rather hoping that Peter kay would be funny for the first time in 5 or 6 years, but was disappointed.

Tried to listen, for the first time in my life, to Sargent Pepper's LHCB on the way back from the US a couple of months ago - couldn't do it. Flicked on Dark Side of the Moon for the several hundredth time instead. :oyea:

As for Paul McCartney - I can't stand the feck*!
