Where are you going tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Litttle Voice at the Octagon tonight had about one third of the audience standing to applaud at the end.

It is a production of huge energy, with a singing performance of sheer brilliance by Katie Elim-Salt as LV...

Sometimes very funny, sometimes moving, sometimes (a little) overblown, Jim Cartwright's script is often startling, often poetic, sometimes savage...

Loads of local references and jokes... some slightly familiar

I've seen four productions of this play, including the first, with Jane Horrocks and Alison Steadman, at the National Theatre...

This is my favourite... seriously... Go - See... :D

Excellent to learn, Clapton. Will deffo go to see it. Was intrigued by William's comments about it receiving a standing ovation by 33% of the audience on a press night. Over the past couple of years I've seen some truly outstanding stuff at the Octagon after which I've even seen the cast applauded back on for a third bow, but the next person I see stand to applaud will be the first.

That took me back. Reminded me of going to see Glenn Campbell at Southport Winter Gardens years ago. Almost got thrown out for telling a wanabee Tammy Wynette right behind me to give it a fxcking rest from singing along to just everything he did at full blast. Couldn't hear anything except her awful caterwauling. She got quite upset claiming she'd paid her money and would do as she liked. Told her I could hear hear level of "singing" in any pub for free any night of the week. Shut her up though.
