Alan Thompson leaves Celtic. Can he do a job for us?

Yes - he can do my fecking garden on the grounds that the person who should've been doing it is still surprisingly in a job.

Coyle desperately needs a defensive coach alongside him to help him out, not sure Tomo is the right man for that tbh.

From what I hear the Bolton pub landlords would be pleased to see him return to the Wanderers.

Not for me, I'm afraid.

Loved Tommo as a player, only really been successful in Scotland as a coach. I think he could do a job for us but I don't think Coyle will bring him in
Pfffft.

In his prime a cracking player. Remember him scoring a great goal at Burnden (memory not up to which game?). Wish we had him now as he was then.

Which wouldn't surprise me about that clssless tw@t.

Tomo has pulled him out of hot water more often than he's had hot dinners. I expect he's told him one home truth too many.

He is (or was) David Lee's brother-in-law as they married sisters. So doubtless Coyle will be very well aware of him. If he's any kop Coyle won't want him anywhwere near as he won't want any ready-made replacements sitting 10 yards away.

Great from a nostalgia point of view, but apparently his drinking has got quite serious now. Going on the lash with some Rangers players is rarely a good idea either as a Celtic employee.

If that is the case then it's very sad. Loved him as a player for us, but if we gave jobs to all our favourite ex-players we'd have a back-room staff of hundreds.

According to one person I know, the taxi firms around Bolton used to know his address, because he most certainly didn't after a night with Mr B. Rown of Newcastle.

Yep tis true. Mind very different times then just look at what Super John used to get up to....

Sad if Tomo has let drinking get on top of him now. Hopefully not.

Hmmm. Let me assure you that Kirsty MacLeod isn't a model and her only resemblance to Britney Spears is that they both have blonde hair. Why do they come out with such shite? :conf:

However, she can't have put some booze away.

If he got rid of David Lee's sister then he won't be coming to the club either way

He's gone back to her (and the kids).

Apparently he can't go anywhere in Glasgow without people buying him a drink.
