That's absolutely incredible. You could blow that at the coaching house.BWFC_Insane wrote: They do early evening dining menu, was in Manc on business so popped in the the missus on the off chance at 6.30.

Really should have taken a closer look when you posted that link (though am looking forward to San Carlo).

Yeah it's a great deal, same with their normal lunch menus (not the one I posted.......)Bruce Rioja wrote:That's absolutely incredible. Over at mi bezzy mate's last night, we got food taxi'd over from Nam Ploy. Utterly, utterly fecking delicious. Perfect level of flavour combined with spice heat so that you can feel it, but comfortably. Magnificent.

I can't stand 'ale'Lord Kangana wrote:And for gods sake get some real ale down their necks. The only way we'll stop that pish Peroni from being imported is if the market collapses over there because they've all stopped drinking it. Do your bit as an Englishman.
Like a fair few continental brews but don't often bump into 'em in Asda in a 12/15 strong box
Peroni is fine for what it is
Cold, fizzy and drink a box at a time, nae bother
Boxes ticked

I try to avoid anything that I can't drink without a fridge handy. Warm Peroni tastes like I'm going to contract Leptospirosis.

Well, yes
But then I'd say that about most things I'd drink - even some of my favourite witbiers
Each to their own, I suppose

Pain in the arse on a long trek away journey. Or a day at the cricket. Though the bastards make you drink their pretend ale piss now. This is when bottles of proper beer come into their own. You'll come round one day.

I'm going back one day
It's my promise to myself

I know Commie joined us but it was a blur after 2 hours pouring our own
I was leathered when I left but was still out 6 hours later, like you do

Well, I've never heard a bad report, or even a mediocre one. Am confident that even an old pro like you will approve. Let us know how you get on.Lord Kangana wrote:Supposedly being treated to this next week. Its being built up to buggery-f*ck. Edit: Ordinarily I avoid prawn crackers as they are flavourless and dripping in fat. The ones from Nam Ploy are exactly the opposite and I implore you to get some.

Re: What are you eating and drinking tonight?
Thanks for the heads-up on this one, Fella. They (and I) absolutely loved it. Fantastic place, service and food. I had pasta with crab claw meat, tomatoes, garlic and chilli. It was that good that I didn't want to send any back and tried to finish it all (and failed) despite being as full as an egg. My guests spoke to all the waiters in Italian - I was hoping that they might have caught one or two out ("Mi name's not really Giuseppe, it's Carl") but nopeBWFC_Insane wrote:San Carlo.Bruce Rioja wrote:I'm tasked with looking after a couple of Italian visitors next week. Where's the best place to take them in Manny for lunch on Wednesday? Think on, lunch not dinner. Expense isn't a concern. Gang? Does Albert's Shed do lunch?
Mancini in there a lot.
