Let's be honest, the shirt design is first and foremost about 188 BET not Bolton Wanderers.thebish wrote:Turkish Trotter wrote:TDs put his interpretation of what it should be like.thebish wrote:probably a stoopid question...

Re: The New Kit Thread
Now I know there is much, much anticipation for my opinion on the new Bolton Wanderers strip.
As you are all well aware I was devasted to see Reebok leave after 22 years of fabulous designs but......
I will be making annoncements over the next couple of days regarding views and what-not.
So please try to remain patient so I can gather my thoughts and analysis and i will be back with you in due time, more to follow......thank you

I've done a rough mock up of the kit if the blob had been blue

Re: The New Kit Thread
I must be the only one that doesn't seem to mind the blob and the ribbons.
Adidas should be navy though

Re: The New Kit Thread
Adidas will want to maximise their new branding as much as possible with the shirt, and navy blue doesn't stand out as much as red.
Hence the red stripes. Makes perfect sense.
Plus 188 probably have a say too, its probably in their contract that the blob has to be orange on home shirts, as its our main shirt and the orange is part of their colour branding.

Chances are they've had to mess around with Photoshop to get the arms to match those in the original. Hasn't come out too well, has it?YtarmyYtarmy wrote:They've got arms like Oranutans, whats that all about ??

the kit would have been better if they had put a little more detail on the body.

Re: The New Kit Thread
I guess the numbers will be red too, it's worked better than blue in the last few years imo.
With the home kit being tame, i hope the away kit is something outrageous lol. Take your pick as to what colour it will be. I'm suprised 188Bet haven't asked for an orange away kit yet.
