- May not be true but still the best thing to state publicly.

- If true, still doesn't mean we turn down an offer club thinks is good value.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind keeping at least one player who'd do ok in the Prem, should we get promoted. Otherwise, what's the point of going up?

Chungy, Holden and Mark Davies all need to stay.

I hear what you are saying Tom, but they all have their price at which we can do more with the money coming in than we'd have by keeping them. You'd sell each of them for £50m no doubt? Off the top of my head we have only ever got more than £5m for Anelka and Cahill. Chungy and a fit Holden I'd argue are both worth more to us than £5m, Mark Davies, decent player that he is, I'm not convinced.

I just think young and english equals more than £5m...can we not trade on his 'skillz' and squeeze a couple more mil?

Granted its a bullshit twitter but for his only true position we have eagles and pratley both who have records of scoring in that position off a centre forward..Plus he is injury prone. I'd sell him me to fund a proper centre mid. Chungy on't other hand...

So a Stoke fan says that they've had an offer accepted for an unnamed player at a 'relegated club', their supporters start speculating on the identity of this Bolton, Blackburn or Wolves player and you lot decide that this player plays for us (even assuming they've had any offer accepted) Incidently most of them seem to think that the player is Matt Jarvis from Wolves...

You could have fooled me. Sounds like a few of you are ready to launch yourself off the nearest tall building on the back of it. There's transfer gossip and then there's just total bullshit.

You might as well just post that the club has been sold to Glasgow Rangers and we'll be playing in the SPL next season. Hang on...

Nah, it's more like you getting upset about a player leaving who isn't leaving.

Which one?
That'll be all that gossip...
Of course, if he (who he/he who) DOES leave then we'll have a good old laugh about it anyway.

Until then i would recommend staying out of the transfer gossip area, as transfer gossips (regardless of player / source) may occur from time to time.

Cant see that happening, Lukaku thinks he is big time, was angry he wasnt involved more with Chelsea last season. He'd go to another Premier League team if anything.

None of that money is coming to me, so it's only worth anything if we're going to spend it on better players. If we sold Davies for £5mil we'd spend it on shit. Do you have any faith that we'd spend that money well, given that the aim isn't just to get back in the Premier League, it's to stay there?
