What are you eating and drinking tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Mmmmmm. Have made a deal with myself. 3K run first thing in the morning (in the pouring rain, no doubt) = bacon & eggs for brekkie :)

Within 20 minutes of finishing Brucie as your metabolism will absorb that in a jiffy! No harm done.
Really? And maybe also a couple of Jed Crumpets too?

Started with parfait instead of terrine (couldn't get all the bits for terrine) - starter was by all accounts pretty good - none left by anyone.

Switched to lamb shanks for mains (as beef is tomorrow) - The lamb was good, but ditched the "sauce" which I'd tried out of a recipe book and was cack. I suspect the addition of chorizo didn't help much.

The tiramisu, was allegedly "to die for"...which given I know what went in it, is a distinct possiblity.

All in all, there's been worse disasters at sea, allegedly.

Just had a few scoops at The Moon Under The Water on Deansgate followed by a terrific meal at Jamie Olivers Italian (salted nachos with spiced sun dried tomatos, lamb and pork linguine, three ice creams with butterscotch and crushed nuts). Another pint at the Bridge and rolled out of there to find Deansgate closed and the Olympic Flame on its way past with Sir Chris Hoy holding the sacred flame aloft. Fancy putting on a show like that just for us.

Boo!

No one likes a quitter.

If you're riding a horse, and the horse turns around, bites you in the face and throws you off, before trampling all over you, you need to get straight back in the saddle and ride it again. Or the terrorists win. You should know that.

Good, drinking is a serious business. Not there for pleasure.

Eating? Absolutely nothing. I'm scared to in case the stomach cramps that kept me awake all night kick back in. Water only today just so I don't sh*t myself to death, as I feared was going to be the case at about 4am

Asda have got a bottle of Dao (Extra Special range) on for a fiver at the moment.

Buy it.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Gammon ham slice, pinapple, chips and peas. Slice of iced fruit cake to follow. Nice.

Tango - you appear to have spelled fried egg 'pineapple'. :conf:
