What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

:D Interesting ending eh? Pretty sure it was discussed to death on this thread at the time. All sorts of theories about it including body swapping and using his contacts. I've watched it a few times and there's nothing 'obvious' that means he survives!

It was.

Like you say, nothing obvious at all....although, did he use the squash ball to somehow stop his pulse?

Up in the Air blu ray came in the post today so going to give that a watch tonight. No idea what to expect and bought it because it was only £2 (for a blu ray an absolute steal) but heard good things.

Going to finish Entourage tonight too, got about 4 episodes of the last season. Been disappointed with the storylines in the last few seasons but there's been some fantastic moments throughout and I've enjoyed every season. Johnny Drama might be one of my favourite TV characters ever. They've missed the boat by not having a spin off series with him.

Film or series?

Enjoyed the film, but the series is a lot better, and I'm not usually a fan of english drama.

Ah, see, I'm a huge fan of British drama, it really is my thang.

I'm watching the film. See, I keep pausing it to fanny about on here and whatnot. Films that grip see the lappy get closed, the phones turned off and so on. That said, it does look as though it's about to pick up. We'll see.

Definitely watch the series then, it's fantastic. Shame you're watching the film first because I'd have suggested doing it the other way round. I think I enjoyed the film based on my love for the series and because there's some good actors in it. Had it been a stand alone film I'd probably not have enjoyed it as much.

Well, it did get better and I finished it but it will have to go down on the highl- contrived and poorly over-acted list I'm afraid! :hang:

Halfway through Alcatraz.
Brilliant idea for a show. Let down by the colour-by-numbers story telling.

Black Pond. Chris Langham's first proper do since it all came out about his extra-curricular activities. Simon Amstell is in it too.

It's a kind of art-house surreal black comedy and it is fecking outstanding. Seriously, seriously good. Light and dark, poetic and blunt and really funny. Langham is brilliant. Seriously, watch it.

Lewis for me. Nobody will ever replace Morse (John Thaw), but I'm getting to like Lewis.

i think so, it is Banksy, he's probably having satirical dig at somebody above my head? but all the people featured are real, so maybe its just filmed sort of tongue in cheek. whatever its supposed to mean i still enjoyed it - just the fact that because its him, it must have some other agenda, or why would he bother?

Aye - agree with all of that. Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed watching it, but if it was that easy then we'd all be at it. It's definitely a pop at someone/something.
