That's very, very sad GG. The consolation is you have already had many years together.

Hope it works out for the best.

Been through it 3 times with my Boxers and it never gets any easier. There comes a time when you know you're keeping them around for you rather than for them. Thoughts are with you.

Look at this rascal. He/she's one of two that have started to live, or at least spend their days upon my ridge tiles. I put bread out for them every day but they never take it until I've closed the dining room curtains and the kitchen blind. However, today I sneaked this before it flew off. They're the size of blummin turkeys! :shock:

:conf:

There's a filly here in Oz (1 race, 1 win) called Blackman. Her sire was named Excellent Art. Charles Blackman is a famous Australian artist. Her dam, by the way, was named Busty.

The body responsible for approving race horse names has told the owners that she must be renamed. Why? One, yes one, objection was received from an unnamed complainant.

What's this bloody world coming to?

Angry ? Well, a little .... but more fckg bemused ;

(the names in this are changed, to protect the innocent)

On an e-mail ;
BtC ..... Tracy, do we employ an Alan Turner ?

Reply ; .... No. Not an Alan Turner.

BtC ..... Can you recheck ? Also see if he's an ex-employee ... or even an agency worker to us.

Reply ; .... No. No Alan Turner

Me, thinks "... very odd". I go over to the files a little later ... there is an Allan Turner file.

Me (in words now, not e-mail, holding file up). "Well, it seems we do Tracey. Here's his file."

Tracey looks & then replies ... & I shit you not ... "That's Allan ... spelt with two L's. You asked about an Alan, with only one".

Tracey may not be with me a great deal longer.

After checking that it IS the name I've been sent, & it is ...
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

Shouldn't hurt too bad if it was a clean extraction.....so long as you don't get dry socket syndrome

My ex-girlfriend suffered badly with dry socket syndrome. I didn't get a clean extraction once.

Not angry as such but annoyed i never paid any attention in sewing lessons at school. Got given a top which is too big. It was in the sale and the size 8 has sold out so can't swap it. Could possibly get a refund but i like it. Trying to make it fit better - and failing. Grrrr. Might have to sweet talk my mum or mother in law...

I think buying a dingy and only allowing the child to use it in the bath is meaner.

And no, it wasn't me.
