Yeah I'm going with 3 others. Would expect it to be more Academy than Reserve players though.

Yup, It'll be primarily the reserves that have not travelled to Bonnie Scotland plus the Academy make-weights.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

1 -1 Final score. Just a typical pre-season warm up game but with lots of Academy players stepping up it was difficult to assess the team's performance and so it's probably not fair to judge individual performances.

Well, playing Bamber Bridge is a stiff test for anybody.

Brig's goal looked a bit of a shocker when watching from the other end, how did you see it ST? Seemed that our keeper completely misjudged the cross and he fumbled it over the line (after running in to the post)?!

Hard to gauge much of a team performance with so many changes but there's something to work with once there's more match sharpness. Thought Battersby had a decent enough game at right back. Think McKee would give a better account of himself on the right flank but it seems it's out of fashion to have wingers playing on their strongest side.

That was exactly how I saw it and was probably the only time our goalie, Jan-Ole Sievers (he looked about 12) was asked to make a serious save and he just fluffed it.

Didn't look like he got anywhere near it when Brig hit the bar in the second half as well?

It'll be interestiing to see where Jay Lynch fits in now. I know he thought he'd made his breakthrough into the first team squad once Jussi refused to do the first team pre-match warm ups
