Guidetti is well rated amongst the Try hards at the Council Tax. If we could get him on loan that would be fantastic as he pretty much put the Eredivise to the sword last season
Pfffft.

We're signing Michael Owen.

How do I know? Michael Vaughan has said so on That Twitter:
https://twitter.com/VaughanCricket/stat ... 2320315392" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Sceptics and naysayers may point out that there's no basis for this. To them I say pish. And tish. This is from Michael Vaughan. He used to captain England. And he's from Worsley - both of which factors give him far more credibility than any of you MoFos.

Yeah. Suck on that, biatches.

Been reading Nixons tweets, apparently Sanchez has got a work permit and booked his flights so he could be coming to sort personal terms

Would be good if true. We are woefully short of firepower up front and he knows where the goal is.

How do you get a work permit without an employment contract?

If we sign Mr Owen then it will fly in the face of all Coyle as said and quite clearly will be a Gartside attempt to settle all the fans down to show they mean business, aye for BUPA maybe!

Never thought I'd see the day that one of our fans moans at the prospect of signing Michael Owen. I'm lost for words

Really? Signing Owen would be absolutely fecking ridiculous.

Injury prone, well past it player, living off former glories, who is far more interested in horses than football.

We've already got one Owen who is a complete waste of space stealing a living, lets not add another!

It's a visa he was after, not a work permit.

I think (or would hope) you need an offer of employment to get a work visa or work permit.
Certainly do for all other countries i've dealt with.

What's the difference ? I know you can get a short term Visa, 3 months ? And then you can get a longer term visa but it eventually runs out. Is a work permit a permanent thing ?

A work permit is a work permit, whereas there are various types of visa including a work one, which i assume Mr Sanchez will have applied for. And to get one, he must surely need a job offer or job offers, or prove that he is actively seeking work.
Sounds like he's got that sorted though.

It will be a visa to get into the UK, I presume.

A Visa permits you to enter the country (for various reasons)... a work permit gives an employer permission to employ you (so it is often the employer who applies for that - though it could be either)
