You do not need Pay Pal to purchase the game.

On the payment plans page, when you click the Pay Pal button you are given the option to sign in to paypal or just enter your debit/credit card details for the one off payment.

Hope this clears a few things up.

If you had the equipment and were willing to pay them some kind of commission, I'm sure they'd go for it..

Unless the Football League won't allow it?

We have got a rights agreement with the Scottish Football League, but there is not other television contracts in place in the lower leagues in Scotland unlike the Championship

Surely you could work around that e.g only show games that won't be televised or only show home games

Nope - there's rules in place still, as I understand it about showing games that KO @ 15:00 on a Saturday. As far as I'm aware it still isn't allowed. As for the non-Saturday games, they aren't going to let them go cheap unless they're part of a TV deal.

Generally there is a worry that it would lead to a drop in attendances - I suspect - not necessarily just for the Clubs involved, but potentially "undecided" fans of other Clubs that might take the view that it's easier to watch the match on telly than slug it through the pi$$ing down rain to watch their own team...

At the minute the way I see it is if your a Bolton fan and not close to the stadium your fecked for any live coverage apart from the odd televised game. Surely that decreases the fan base and then income

This is correct - but not the way "they" see it.

I used to drive 150 miles there and 150 miles back for an entire season of home games. There are fans that travel up from London every weekend.

Would that sort of thing happen if it was on the internet? I'd have certainly struggled to justify the time and expense, let alone those travelling even farther every week.

And thats not to mention those that live in and around the area who don't bother to turn up.

So I'm definitely 100% against any official streaming of games.

I admire your loyalty but for many travelling often isn't a option, I'm not the only on here that couldn't afford a flight to and from England every other week to watch a game of football

Yeah, but I wasn't questioning anyone's loyalty. But streaming games officially would have an impact on crowds. And therefore a clubs income. And of course a further detrimental effect on attendances.

I get some people can't watch the games, but I'd rather keep fans in the ground than have everyone watching from home. Football shown in pubs has already eroded the attendances.

But as I'd be there it'd be a moot point!

but not aye-pads ?

The people need to know !

Well, one or two people. You'll know who they are when you see them. They'll be the smug looking ones who are easily impressed and wearing items from the King's New Clothes fashion range.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Live streaming is not available on mobile devices (eg. iPad/iPhone). This is made clear on the payment page.

Cheers

All set for watching this now. PayPal messed me about a bit (couldn't find my address) but I got it sorted eventually. Bring it on.
